Your character Paxton is, from all I observed, an absolute meme. The last recent interaction I had with them was, as he, during a conversation with a scientist I had, you stuffed them into a locker, wrapped it and labeled it "gay baby prison". I've seen other moments like these, but this is the most recent one. I won't start with retconning an open suicide + funeral on station with like, 30-40 people attending and witnessing it, with another character you did. Can you explain to me, why you would rate your roleplaying ability 7/10? The character you proposed and their story looks good, though, I feel you could just play them as your next meme character.

Told you it fits, This is basically the HEV suit, only with a green and not an orange visor. Not bad.

On the Subject of Ta (Vaurca Breeder Consulars)
KingOfThePing replied to Mofo1995's topic in General
It's well known I love and like to play Vaurca. They have interesting, deep lore and the Ta are no exception to this. Of course, I play a Ta consular, too. It's not a role for every round, of course, but I have never had a single bad round as Ta. They are special, even for consulars. They can interact with any crew, basically, regardless of their species. Other consulars often can only best interact with X species or Y faction. The fact that this does not apply for the Ta is honestly great, since you are never bored playing it. This comes from different reasons. They not only represent the Zo'ra hive, but the Biesel government, so everyone who works on the station has at least some business with the Republic. Second, their appearance. It was proposed to change it and make it more "streamlined" but I honestly don't know why that has to be. There are little issues with sprites or stuff being misaligned, you don't physically interact much with items or, behold, weapons anyway. Their unique appearance gives opportunity. Opportunity to interact with people. A conversation can spark from the single reason that they do NOT look normally. The fact that some people propose, that the GIGANTIC LITERAL BUG MUM FROM OUTER SPACE should be more human-like or mask it's appearance is silly to me. People want aliens - but please, don't look like aliens, or what? Their appearance, including the sprite is perfectly fine and in line with lore and aesthethics. You are able to approach nearly anyone on the station, still pursue your own interests and goals. You have a lot of things you can talk or RP about with others, the lore is there. To me, the Ta representative is maybe even the best of them all. They are great and should absolutely stay. -

Melodramatic Overly Long Soppy Bullshit Rambling
KingOfThePing replied to Mogelix's topic in General
I have never interacted much with you but I don't think I ever read a single sentence in looc, coming from you that was not an insult. I don't know you as a person, so I can only judge you by your outbursts you have and had out of character. I also don't want to accuse you of meaning everything you say 100% seriously and want everyone to truly fuck off. It's just, if a game (or the players) makes you this angry, honestly, don't play it. I had a game like that before, too. The only solution is to stop playing it. -
I see you are back at doing god's work again. Bless your heart

I dont know the history of you and Lancer and I honestly don't care but I can show you easily why this rule was set in motion and put in place. It is because people post these kinds of IR: They list 15 people to interview here. Fifteen. Not even including the counter-IR that was also posted, that lists the same people again and thus, was merged. That's probably half the server that apparently have witnessed something. This is an ridiculous amount of workload. This is over 7.5 hours of pure interviewing, without counting in the time you need to schedule things (credit for the maths go to NerdyVampire). That's honestly unreasonable and so a way was brought up to limit the amount of witnesses that can be brought up. Interviewing 10 people who all say the same is a waste of time. (This is not to badmouth the IR above, but it is a prime example.). Lancer did not put this rule into place alone, he asked and most, if not all that were present agreed. So I have to agree with Lancer.

As the title says. It actually serves no purpose except making built things look important. Please make it craftable somehow, to give important building projects a more important feel and look.

Comparing movies and video games, you are about 20 years late for that. Your sentence also has zero substance. People play games to have fun. You can hardly force consequences onto people, let me tell you that as CCIA. There is also nothing that can ever be suggested that changes this. People themselves need to want change or accept consequences. This here is an endless and ultimately senseless discussion.

It is still just a video game.

If, at all, this should be a common load out item, as the PRA party cards became one. But that's for Alb to decide, I guess, since he is in charge of the reps.

Character Complaint - Nathan Corvo and Mia Frei
KingOfThePing replied to CuthbertIsHere's topic in Complaints Boards Archive
If you quote me, quote me in the entirety, please: You wearing the black uniform issued by NT (the one from the loadout I assume) breaks a regulation. The locker in the locker room is not yours, neither is the contents. It's property of the Corporation. But I really should stop posting now, since I am not directly involved. I pointed out that you are not up-to-date with some regulations and that's that. -
I find the new ones cool, the old ones and these here still look like toys

Character Complaint - Nathan Corvo and Mia Frei
KingOfThePing replied to CuthbertIsHere's topic in Complaints Boards Archive
I am not directly involved in this, but your claim to know regulations and directives can easily be disproven. You should maybe read CCIA Notice #7: "Uniform Regulation": "Personnel should be reminded that regulation requires uniform jumpsuits to be worn rolled up. Tajaran crew members are excepted from this requirement, but are required to wear a non-revealing undershirt or tank top that does not bare the chest. Uniformed security employees are to wear only standard equipment provided by NanoTrasen. Security uniforms do not include personal clothing, or items that would significantly impact the crew's ability to immediately identify security personnel. Minor alterations to uniform equipment are permitted in order to accommodate non-human species. Personnel failing to meet these requirements are in violation of regulations, and are subject to fines, detention, or other applicable penalties." If you wear a poncho that hides the entire uniform - you are breaking a regulation. Some people could even argue about the cowboy hat. If you, as a contractor, are not wearing your contractor's uniform while on duty - you are breaking a regulation, as defined in CCIA Notice #30, "Regarding Contractors": "Contracted employees on board Nanotrasen vessels are fully subject to the established Nanotrasen chain of command, station directives, notices and regulations. They are to clearly state the fact they are contracted as well as their parent company, in their security and employment records. Contractors are to wear their company uniforms in all fields in order to be distinguishable, and are not to hold any internship positions. They are also not to be promoted to Interim Head of Staff positions under any circumstances." All equipment you use or get from the station (thus, ingame) that does not come from your personal loadout - guns, tasers, ammunition and all other security equipment is all provided by NanoTrasen and issued equipment by the Corporation. Nothing besides the uniform "belongs" to the Eridani PMC and even that I couldn't tell for sure. It's not your uniform either, so you can't say it's theft. Again, I am not directly involved, but as CCIA I feel the need to advise you that your understanding of Corporate Regulations, Directives and CCIA Notices seem to be lacking, as Nantei already pointed out. You should read it again. -
I personally find it still strange but can't say anything against your arguments, I guess.

Okay, the items and sprites are cool but why, in the universe, would you take camping equipment to your workplace when there are dorms, for example?

[ACCEPTED]ShesTrying to Be a BUG
KingOfThePing replied to ShesTrying's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
How do they think about Queen Xetl and the High Queen? What do they think about the fact that Xetl exploits their Bound in every way possible, even "worse" than other Queens or Hives? While your section about VR is nice and all, the actual description of your character is lacking. They are curious and like touching things. That's about it, really. Unbound can have a more complex personality, than Bound, besides one or two simple things in life. How did they come to work for NT anyway? Most of their hives Unbound are used and needed to develop their colonies, so why are they at a human research station? Why were they chosen to learn Research&Development, together with circuits? Also, as Resi already pointed out, coming from Xetl's blood and being so overly joyful about simple touch needs to be explained, too, due to the nature of their VR. Same goes with, quote: "basic conversation". It shows again that your backstory or character background in general is lacking, since there is no indicator on why they are this way, even though they technically shouldn't.
