Right there are a lot of posts you have made that are difficult to address. 1. I have short term memory loss. Long term, I know you as Jackboot so I keep accidentally calling you that. 2. Unironically stop with the fucking character assassination posts. I'm starting to get tired of your annoying victimization, honestly. I have said multiple times that you are not a sexual deviant nor a sexist, privately and publicly but you keep forgetting that because I think it's starting to be convenient for you. Aurora members have made jokes about the community being full of weirdos before and no one really likes to talk about weird sexual remarks. I've actually had 2 people mention to me about weird sexual shit that occured to them, one being unathi species and the other being tajara. I think people are also forgetting about the time regarding that whole fiasco where two staff members ERPed on another server with no erp allowed rules. If you have some accusation to make, just make it my dude. 4. You're missing the point. I said there exists some lore, not that it makes up 100%. I'm aware of some of the feminism inside it, which is why I submitted a whitelist application for the species because it interested me. My point isn't that 100% or even 50% of lore has tribal fetish content, it's just that there exists some lore that has it and I think players are taking it too far.

The post wasn't a callout post. It was me pointing out the very thin line between not creepy and creepy, which is why I said that I wasn't sure if it was an issue or not as I didn't ahelp and reserved judgement. In the situation, all parties knew eachother OOCly and the character they played, which is fine. I've seen this lore argument brought up frequently, however I do not think it applies to sexual harassment. There is sexism, and there is sexual harrassment. As far as I know, there is nothing in the lore that says that unathi are sexually harassed and that it's perfectly acceptable for unathi males to do so. As for the escalation thing, I meant ICly escalation. If there was OOCly escalation issues, I would've ahelped you, which I didn't because it was nothing.

As I said, I didn't mind the interaction between us because I wasn't creeped out by it. What I was creeped out by was the interaction between you or another character, but I wasn't sure what lead up to that so I didn't ahelp it. I actually felt sorry for you OOCly and ICly and I asked security to punish the blue unathi who escalated things poorly. tl;dr I'm glad something positive came out of it and that you asked others about it. You are a model player in this regards.

I really don't want to compare this to actual sexual harassment in the real world, but a comment argument that those who frequently engage in sexual remarks in the workplace use the excuse that "they mean well" and think that getting offended over an employee saying to you "Hey, beautiful, do you want to hang out sometime?" at work is opinion because "others might find it endearing." The point is that there is a time and a place. They said it not at the correct time nor the correct place. Spectators, especially people who are in charge of handling bad incidents, shouldn't use this same logic. That is the issue I have here.

Yesterday I saw the following situation occur. There was a unathi player. I don't even remember their name but their entire player gimmick was that they were excessively flirty. They flirted hard with my character, but I didn't complaint or ahelp it because it was so cartoonish and I couldn't take it seriously and they never said anything sexual. They also fucked off after I showed disinterest. Later in the shift they were flirting with another female unathi. The female unathi was actually pissed off and told them to straight up fuck off multiple times to the point where another female unathi smashed their face in near the holodeck. I regret not ahelping it. Or maybe I don't. It's hard to tell what is roleplay and what is self-insert. It was some of the most neckbeard shit I've seen, it reminded me of 2012.

Okay. The issue isn't you opinion or whether or not you're right, it's how and when and where you said it, and as an administrator, you saying it. It shouldn't be hard to comprehend that someone will be uncomfortable if you make sexual advances towards their character. It absolutely fucking shouldn't be. I'm telling you as a player I am not comfortable with players making sexual advances towards my character but for some reason you believe that it matters very little because you somehow made it a matter of opinions and that you personally find the remarks cute. This has nothing to do with opinions. If someone receives an unwanted sexual remark you should never ever say that "Well, I find it cute. I don't see the issue." as an administrator. I personally do not trust staff to deal with this sort of thing if this is the sort of mindset they have.

You're allowed to have opinions. You're allowed to have right opinions. You're allowed to have wrong opinions. But as a response to me going "I don't really appreciate users making creepy comments towards my characters in OOC and LOOC." and as an admin going "Yeah but I find it cute. Why shouldn't a player say your character is cute? You have opinions, and I have mine." That's just not okay for an admin to say. I thought this was resolved in the previous complaint but it seems that you don't understand this or care to put effort into understanding it. This isn't me going "You called me bro, did you just assume my gender?" this is me going "I am actually uncomfortable with other players trying to sexualize characters in a fucking atmos simulator."

You somehow took me highlighting some pretty questionable quotes to make it crystal clear what the issue is as "As you've so masterfully created art in mspaint to get a point across" You still don't realise how messed up it is to tell someone who is clearly uncomfortable with weird sexual remarks that it's actually just cute and you, as an administrator, see no issue with it. You still believe that there isn't an issue in making those "tummy rubs are not creepy, they're cute" comments to a person who is clearly uncomfortable with other users making those comments to their character. You said it was "real classy" of me to label your mocking sarcastic comments that were intentionally backhanded as "stupid shit" and somehow turned that into a personal attack. I have no issue with you, I have issue with the words that you have said. This has honestly provided me with enough insight for me to go "This isn't okay." because this isn't okay. Evidence/logs/etc: Additional remarks: I was given a lecture by skull a day ago when I tried appealing a 24 hour ban for making a joke about how the only reason why ninja explosions haven't been removed is because people want to make security suffer. They said I had an attitude problem and I shouldn't do that in important subforms, and I agree. But for some reason there exists a moderator who does this and doesn't seem to get the same repercussions as me despite being a phenomenally more important person and discussing more valuable things. Consistently my interactions with prate have been nothing but negative and I think my first staff complaint was made because of him. I remember that I accidentally didn't "talk like a diona" for 2 sentences as I was stressed out. The Captain was demanding me several times to borg someone as well as fix 2 downed IPCs as a first time roboticist, and I was bwoinked and warned for it by prate. They didn't seem to listen or discuss or care that it was a mistake due to stress and wiki juggling. Their response was to not play roboticist anymore and closed the ticket. The loredev said that was bullshit and the warning was removed. Then you have the incident where I pointed out bad player behavior when they asked to rub my character's tummy or some shit in LOOC, and prate chimed in saying that it wasn't creepy behavior, but it was cute. I told them that I didn't feel comfortable about it and they didn't seem to give a fuck and said that everything was subjective. I had to make a staff complaint about that, and it was resolved in my favor with garnacus saying that prate shouldn't have done that. Prate then, extremely begrudgingly, said some stupid shit and didn't appear to take the ruling seriously. Then I made another complaint where I tried appealing a part of a warning to me where I accidentally shot sec with lethal turrets once because I thought they were part of another turret controller in the core. Any other admin would actually understand this but prate said that I had issues as synth and thought that deserved a warning because "I played synth long enough to know how turrets work". I made a staff complaint trying to appeal it, but I was threatened by them with "Maybe it was wrong of me to warn you for this. Maybe I should've given you a synth ban instead." which is just really fucking wrong. Imagine if a player made a staff complaint about a decision against then, and for appealing it, they were given a harsher punishment instead of the original punishment by the admin who you're reporting. Given the standards that players are given on the forums as well as in game, I do not think that they are consistent with how pratepresidenten actually behaves. They have a serious attitude problem in official channels, make snide remarks to rulings, and are generally extremely unsympathetic when it comes to dealing with ahelps compared to other admins.

I still have issue with this poll because you couldn't vote N/A on most of the staff roles while you could, for some reason, vote N/A on the CIAA and Loredev roles.

I've been playing on other servers. The supermatter engine on here is pretty shit for a multitude of reasons. 1. Modifications to the engine are seen as not-allowed. 2. The supermatter engine is easy to fuck up and hard to fix. 3. There are persistent repercussions if you fuck up the SM, even if you fix it. (I literally got a criminal record over a filter bug.) On /tg/ and other servers you can go pretty wild with SM setups. It gets even more wild with additional gasses, such as tritium, and the addition of fusion. On Aurora, the features are lame and antagonists aren't allowed to fuck with the SM so it's just a bland feature you're forced to interact with every round.

I mean you'd think it be great but it would be exceptionally annoying and honestly near the level of having to manually breathe and blink for players.

Literally all they would have to do is use a Dr. SchollsⓇ Claw InsertⓇ and a shoe size that's an inch larger. Again, it doesn't make sense than anyone can wear any shoe they find regardless of their foot size because that would be dumb. It's the same thing here. And beast races unable to wear shoes is a dumb distinction to have. There was a reason why Bethesda removed that for the elder scrolls series after Morrowind.

Honestly I'm kind of tired that this feature exists. I'm fine with the limited glove selection but this honestly the feet shit is just unrealistic, annoying, snowflake, and lacks consistency with nearly everything else. In the lore screenshots, their feet are digitigrade yet in game they're clearly plantigrade as the original design/sprites were stolen from elsewhere and fit with the shoe sprites that currently exist because this is sane. For some reason we're having our cake and eating it too by not having custom foot and shoe sprites yet we're pretending that it's digitigrade. I'm not asking for custom foot sprites, I'm just asking just to scrap the entire idea because it's just really stupid. I like bet you the only reason why tajara and unathi have digitigrade feet sprites is because any time someone tests out the sprites for digitigrade feet, they go "this is too furry" and scrap the idea all together. I mean, it has happened at least once because a year ago I tried experimenting with it and had the exact same thought. But I digress. For some reason every beast race in fanfiction and non-professional universe MUST have digitigrade feet because I guess we're trying to appease furries, even if it means ignoring realism. If unathi and tajara had the feet they have depicted in the lore screenshots, they would have exceptional amount of trouble carrying any sort of weight and would suffer severe foot injury if they carried anything heavy. In exchange, they'd have exceptionally insane movement speed and wouldn't run out of stamina doing so. It's also silly that anyone regardless of height, weight, body shape, or shoe size can wear anything they want, but for some reason we have to have a distinction of furry race feet. So please. Just make it so that tajara and unathi have digitigrade feet. Literally every other server I've played on, including citadel, isn't snowflake enough to have this feature.

Every department does this now. If an antag has murderous intent, cargo, engineering, and science immediately hunker down and start mass producing antag killing stuff because they don't want to be kicked out of the round by shitty antags. Funny thing, while departments used to do this a bit before brainmed, now they do it every other round. Makes you think.

This is coming from a guy who has spoken to developers at the state of Aurora and someone who was a developer at the time when I proposed several science changes, only to get shut down because a vocal minority of science players wanted science to be intentionally boring and tedious so normies wouldn't play it.

That is why you call an explosion and then a hard gib proc for good measure.

It's a good idea but honestly the best solution would be to add this and also reduce the explosion range of ninja so it doesn't have enough power to destroy station turfs.
