  1. I believe that this stance was indeed a giant mistake by the previous administration. And I am more than eager to make it official as we just started to remove all the excessive discords that clogged the affiliated discord groups channel. Stuff like the lore hub was a sucess for example. And I do want the relay to be a more important and integrated part of the community. I have even talked with the mods and admins to take a more active part in it. I believe that the relay is indeed a great idea and something positive to have in the community. I think that the fact that there is no official system, besides pming people, to get unbanned or complaint about like it hexist for all of our other discords is indeed an issue that should be fixed. Having an unified moderation team would also make it easier for everyone in the regards to keeping up with who did what or who should get banned, would also make the actions more consistent and accountable for.
  2. Crown Heir Shumaila Azunja is Crowned as Queen! 26.02.2463 Crown Heir Shumaila Azunja was crowned queen of the New Kingdom of Adhomai today in a ceremony at the Imperial Palace. The coronation was the first ceremony of its kind to be televised; it was also made available through the extranet in real-time. Kaltir’s pubs were filled with Tajara watching the event. A total of ten thousand guests were invited to personally attend the crowning. A crowd quickly formed outside the royal residence, but they were stopped from reaching the gates by the constabulary. The coronation took place in the throne room. The palace was decorated with paintings, rugs hangings from the walls, and other treasures taken from the royal vault. The Crown Heir was wearing a cyan-blue silk dress adorned with golden brocade and pelts. Shumaila sat on the Throne of Kaltir, a wooden chair commissioned by King Azunja in 2453. Governors, parliamentarians, generals, heads of noble families, diplomats, and other people of note were present as guests. The ceremony started when a priest of Mata’ke and a priestess of Marryam approached the throne and reciting an oath: Shumaila bowed and replied: The priestess of Marryam asked: Shumaila bowed and answered: A Priest of S'rendarr, a member of the S'rendarr’s Closest responsible for the region of Kaltir, accompanied by a Sun Sister walked towards Shumaila after the Mata’ke worshippers left and asked: The Crown Heir bowed briefly and said: The S’rand’marr priesthood then made way for the Field-Marshal Rrhazhal Zarkradar'Akhan. He was carrying the crown jewels: a golden scepter with the symbol of the Twins Suns on the top, a flintlock pistol used during the Gunpowder Age, and the Crown of Kaltir; a tall gold filigree skullcap elaborately ornamented with a scrolled silver overlay, inlaid with precious stones and pearls, and trimmed with pelts. Field-Marshal Zarkradar'Akhan offered the objects while saying his part of the coronation vow: Shumaila held the pistol in one hand and the scepter in the other. She looked up to the field-marshall and answered: The Imperial Army band present started to play the national anthem, the guests then stood up and started to sing alongside the music. The entire city erupted in celebration. Countless fireworks lightened up the skies. The crowd before the gates cheered. Pubs opened their finest casks and gave away free drinks. The people took over the streets, celebrating the ascension of their new monarch. Several gifts were brought to the Queen by her loyal subjects. She was given fine clothes, jewels, and other riches by the nobility. The Amohdan community gifted her one of their ancestral blades brought from the island; the sword was supposedly forged from meteoric iron. King of the Mountains Rustam Harmaliik gave the Queen one hundred Zhsram. The Royal Navy promised to name their next destroyer after Her Majesty. Queen Shumaila Azunja retired to her quarters after the coronation. Parliament sessions are expected to resume tomorrow.
  3. You should still be selected for off station antags don't matter your job.
  4. Population Enjoys the Fruits of a Prosperous Colonization; Hro'zamal Soda is Here! 22.02.2463 As the brave Grand People’s Expeditionary Force secures the colony of Hro’zamal and the Orbital Fleet protects the supplies line, the people of Adhomai can enjoy the benefits brought by the intergalactic expansion. One of these benefits is the Hro’zamal Soda, a soft drink made from a native plant called Hro’zamal Ras’Nifs. The beverage was originally created by the settlers; they mixed the seed’s powder with cold water to combat the heat and tiredness of working the land. The refreshment was adopted by the soldiers of the Expeditionary Force due to its sweet flavor and stimulant effect. Hro’zamal Soda was introduced to Adhomai by the Minister of Defense Irbaykhan Mirarkiizar at the start of the year. Minister Mirarkiizar quickly became a fan of the drink after he was offered a glass of the refreshment during his last visit to the colony. He then returned with several powder pouches to demonstrate the plant’s potential to the Party. With the support of Party Secretary Yakiv Hadii, he convinced the Party of the necessity of producing the drink on an industrial scale. By the orders of President Hadii, national breweries were retrofitted to produce soft drinks and the colony was given instructions to increase the production of Hro’zamal Ras’nifs for exportation. A carbonated version was developed to make the beverage more attractive to the wide public. Nal’tor’s stores were allowed to sell Hro’zamal Soda last week. The sale was inaugurated with an hour-long speech by President Hadii. President Hadii praised the Grand People’s Army’s efforts in fighting the colonial rebels and invited the population to try the new refreshment. Customers formed long lines outside of the city’s markets to acquire bottles of Hro’zamal Soda. The reception of the drink was overall positive. The beverage soon became notoriously popular with college students and factory workers. Restaurants and cafes are now being supplied with it. To guarantee a steady supply of Hro’zamal Ras’Nifs, President Hadii promised more funding and troops to the Expeditionary Force in Hro’zamal. State breweries are currently being expanded to properly accommodate the manufacturing of Hro’zamal Soda for the entire nation. The Office of Colonial Affairs announced more subsidies and benefits to any Tajara willing to move to the colony to cultivate the much-needed plant. Minister of Defense Irbaykhan Mirarkiizar promised to add Hr’ozamal Soda bottles to the military-issued rations.
  5. I will close this in around one day then.
  6. I wrote that in their notes, so yes.
  7. Pointing out the issue of the lore is fine, but the essay does not really display any kind of world building or shows your qualities as a writer. Besides pointing out the issues, I feel that having something written for skrell would be more helpful to gauge what you are planning to do and how.
  8. What is the suggestion exactly?
  9. It is kinda hard to understand what exactly Reformed Al'mariism wants and I don't know if it even makes sense to be included in the aspect of Al'mariism itself because it is barely the same ideology due to a cople of differences. So, they are trying to turn the Tajara into greater beings how exactly? Augmentation? The DPRA would not really have industry or technology like the pra to do that. I am a bit confused by the cultural part. How they are trying to keep the old stuff while turning into something else? How people could even relate to this past condition? Also, the xenophilia part is not really explained what it means.
  10. This was added to the wiki. Application accepted.
  11. What is the round id/date from those logs? Also, to explain my decision: someone some rounds ago ahelped saying that they were doing it before, which they had no evidence, so I kept a remainder to talk to the player if they did that. So, I managed to see the player in question doing that, and I spoke to them. If their notes had stuff about previous rounds of being a bad ninja, I would likely have applied a harsher punishment.
  12. King Vahzirthaamro Azunja is Laid to Rest; Funeral Moves the Kingdom 19.02.2463 Two weeks after King Azunja’s death, Kaltir now houses countless loyal subjects who have came to attend his funeral. The trains and ships were given orders to work non-stop to bring people to the capital. The Imperial Army was deployed to help clean and patch the streets. The shuttle port saw unparalleled activity as expatriates returned to Adhomai. As the hotels' rooms filled with guests, pubs and even the family homes opened their doors for the weary travelers. Military leaders, provincial governors, and other important nobles arrived to pay their respects to King Vahzirthaamro. Caravans of rock nomads traveled to the city and camped in its parks. King’s Azunja body was returned to the Imperial Palace after the medical team confirmed that he passed away due to natural causes. Following a brief vigil reserved to his family and closest friends, His Majesty was dressed in the finest silk and pelts; he was then placed in a glass coffin for the incoming ceremony. The streets and the Royal Residence’s courtyard were full on the day of the funeral. Those who could not take part in it stood by their television or radios. The procession departed from the Imperial Palace. The casket was placed on the top of a military car and slowly moved through the crowded avenues. Crown Heir Shumaila Azunja, Field-Marshal Rrhazhal Zarkradar'Akhan, Grand Admiral Mahtra Dynhaas, King of the Mountains Rustam Harmaliik, and the King’s remaining family members accompanied it closely. Imperial Army soldiers and constables surrounded the convoy. The mourning crowd followed King Azunja. Millions lined up in the streets to see the procession. The sound of the ships’ cannons could be heard from the port as the navy took part in the grieving. After hours, the procession stopped before the Temple of the Undying Sun’s courtyard, the largest S'rendarr and Messa church in Kaltir. Despite the protest of those who argued that the King should be buried following the Ma’ta’ke’s traditions, His Majesty made it clear in his will that he wanted to be cremated and that no other place in the capital could host such a large event. King Azunja was then brought inside the temple and laid on the center of its nave. A ten-kilometer-long line of people who wanted to pay their respects quickly formed outside the building. Priests of the Twin Suns and all Ma’ta’ke Gods were present, praying for King Vahzirthaamro’s soul. Crown Heir Shumaila Azunja, wearing her military dress uniform, was the first one to approach the casket. She stood in silence for some minutes looking at the King before delivering her eulogy: Field-Marshal Rrhazhal Zarkradar'Akhan followed after the Crown Heir. He placed a hand on the coffin, muttering a prayer before delivering his speech. Despite his age, his words were loud and clear: Grand Admiral Mahtra Dynhaas approached the body when the Field-Marshel left. He was dressed in his fancy dress uniform with all of his medals on display. He stood at attention while saying his eulogy: King of the Mountains Rustam Harmaliik stepped forward. The Nomadic ruler was wearing a simple traditional pelt outfit. Without further consideration he said: Ser Mrakhanjurl Ii'rka was also presented, dressed in a simple uniform with only his Hero of Adhomai medal on display. The hero gave a short but sincere eulogy: B'nuqi Valzroq, a Jargon representative to Adhomai, issued the following diplomatic note: A delegation sent by Father Valyan K'rrirran was present to deliver His Holiness condolences and blessings. Priests of Mata’ke and Marryam honored the King by claiming that he made the Gods proud with his just and strong rule. A group of Amohdan warriors from Bar'jar praised the King for his support to their people. Generals, captains, nobles, war heroes, politicians, and countless commoners followed later to pay their respect to the King. The Temple remained open for three more days. The Kingdom was united in the mourning. When the vigil was over, His Majesty’s body was burned in the temple’s crematorium. His ashes were stored in a silver urn that was given to Crown Heir Shumaila Azunja. She expressed the desire to build a mausoleum to guard his remains. As the funeral ended, the Kingdom now looks forward to the coronation of a new monarch. The ceremony is expected to happen in the next week. The Royal Constabulary speculated that the funeral was attended by at least twenty and five million people. Rikdar Al'Manq, while unable to travel to the Kingdom due to restrictions imposed by the Hadiist regime, painted and delivered an oil painting to honor King Azunja:
  13. Application accepted then.
  14. We recently added around five or so school of thought to al'mariism, while I fully understand that you wrote this application before the update, I can't really use everything here. So, could you pick one and rewriter/change it to fit how the wiki displays the ideologies?
  15. Uranium golems causing that much damage is a bug that was likely introduced by a medical code change, which should be fixed/tonned down in regards to their lethality instead of outright removed.
  16. I am a bit confused about the NanoTrasen part, what job do you plan to play this character as in the station? Also, I am kinda unsure how they would be really unaware of what the other factions are, getting information on them would be way easier outside of Adhomai due to the extranet and contact with members of it. Can you take this in consideration and expand a bit more Adrik's views on the sides?
  17. This is solved.
  18. Liberation Army Initiative Bears Fruits; Supreme Commander Announces the Expansion of Experimental Division! In the struggle against the enemies of Al’mariism, no weapon should be ignored. Armed with this knowledge, the Liberation Army has revealed its newest initiative to prepare the nation in case of conflict. During a National Assembly meeting, Supreme Commander Nated has announced the modernization and expansion of army divisions specialized in chemical warfare: the Experimental Compound Troopers. These soldiers’ main function is the deployment of gas to assault fortified positions during offensives. Outside of their conventional weaponry, Experimental Compound Troopers will now be equipped with an experimental weapon: the Acid Thrower. This device is a flamethrower-like mechanism heavily modified to spray acid at short distances; the muzzle-gun is fed through a hose connected to a tank strapped on the trooper’s back. The chosen compound, known as "Vodryanic", was initially developed by the Shsastar Technical University as an industrial acid. Later tests in partnership with the Liberation Army’s development department discovered that the substance was far more effective in dissolving organic matter. Any unprotected area exposed to high concentrations would soon undergo rapid tissue degradation. The gas created by the reaction was observed to possess choking properties. The university was also tasked with designating the Acid Thrower and the bodysuits for the troopers. Supreme Commander Nated added that the mass production of their new gear and training is already a possibility. As part of their testing phase, the Liberation Army offered to transfer a limited number of divisions to the ruling Rrhaza-Akhran. The proposal and the reveal of this initiative deeply divided the national assembly. The civilian representatives and the National Adhomai Worker's Party opposed what they called "indiscriminate use of chemical weapons", claiming that it would likely invite further retaliation from their enemies. The Adhomian Blue Party left the meeting in protest, accusing the Liberation Army of ignoring the possible effects of the new chemical in the environment. The Free Tajaran People's Party and the Followers of Nated praised this development; citing the need to use all available tools to guarantee the survival of Al’mariism. Among the junta leaders, only Rahman Hadjuk and Ahem Kah’nrir accepted Nated’s offer. Hadjuk promised to deploy the Experimental Compound Troopers in his campaign to eradicate the remaining Amohdan nationalist holdouts. Kah’nrir merely mentioned his intentions in helping with the tests. The National Adhomai Worker's Party attempted to organize a vote to stop the expansion of the Experimental Compound Troopers. However, the motion was considered unconstitutional because of Supreme Commander Nated’s jurisdiction over the Liberation Army.
  19. Placing mousetraps is only really an ooc issue if it is not on the vents/areas where rats might show up like in the kitchen, unsure if we can really check if this happened in round. Characters should have enough fluency in basic to understand how to do their jobs and follow/listen to orders given by command staff, this also includes knowing how to read in basic. Nursie did not leave any note in your record, so there is nothing really to fix in regards to that. We can't really find any evidence of malicious intent here as well, so no action will be taken in regards to this.
