I think the move time between the station and the heist base is about 4 minutes, one way. So that would mean 8 minutes for a two way trip. Imho that is a reasonable timeframe. (It avoids going back and forth very often and still allows to trade once they have secured a sufficient amount of cargo.

Corpses are the responsibility of the medbay. Medical personnel is expected to work with the CSI when performing a autopsy. As mentioned by Jackboot. If medical is being difficult, then they need to be punished. But that is not a reason to grant the CSI access to the morgue. The same reason "because they need to do something in the area" can be applied to give almost any job access to most of the station. Therefore voting for dismissal.

Voting for dismissal for the above stated reasons.

Aside from the fact that the items are not ordered by crates anymore so there wont be such a thing as a "banner crate" and that banners dont fit into crates (afaik) it would be doable.
-
There is already a major drawback to pulling people that are laying on the ground: If they are injured, their injuries will worsen to the point that they are often dead before they reach the medbay. Voting for dismissal as its absolutely impractical to get a office chair every time you want to pull someone.

Come on. Do we really need a policy discussion about how to deal with mice in terms of the animal abuse regulation. Just use common sense when applying that regulation.

And this is where I am going to quote the board rules Edit: If you pool up suggestions into a big suggestion topic and refer to other topics you (or someone else) has made it wont make it more likely that they are going to be implemented.

Well, I dont really see a feasible way to make video recording and playback happen within byond. As mentioned before, there are ways to disable cams without triggering an alarm and a device that allows you to see if the AI is watching, is still planned. Therefore voting for dismissal

We discussed this in the staff lobby, and there is no desire to make this happen. Archiving.

How could he have ran back in without an ID with access ? All the walls / windows were intact, so he couldnt have ran back in. In addition, there were two security officers with me and I had my helmet + armor vest on when I let them in. -
Well, adding some of that to cargo would easily be possible. But the question is what are you going to do with that once you have gotten it ?
-
Aside from what Ron said, how would centcom charge all apcs on the station remotely ? I dont see the need or a realistic way how that would be possible. (And yes I know there is a admin verb to do that, but I dont remember it ever being used). Also, if there are no engineers and no personel capable of wiring the solars or setting up any of the engines you could try calling a engineering ert.
-
Interesting solution. If you dont do what I want, then I´ll just create a way to share meta informations about characters myself. You know, if that suggestion is denied, its quite likely that anything else that achieves the same thing through different means will also be shut down.

Well, about the firefight. I arrived at cargo, after two of three reported raiders have been killed or arrested. The officers were standing outside of the door and could not get in. So I opened them the way to the cargo breakroom. A single hostile was in the area between mining and the break room. Security fired a stun beam and the hostile threw a flashbang that remained in the small room between mining and the break room and ran off into maint. After the hostile ran off the HoS told me to get out of cargo. I was always behind the two officers I let in, had the helmet and armor vest on, so I was never in any danger at all. After the HoS left the cargo area, cargo personnel returned to work as there was no threat anymore and the "hostile" was somewhere in maint -
BYOND Key: Arrow768 Game ID: bRc-dk4I (or l) Player Byond Key: BrutishCrab51 Staff involved: Checked with CCIA -> A player compaint should be filed due to antag involvement Reason for complaint: Conduct unbecoming of a HoS Player Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? CCIA was contacted if a incident report should be filed @Whiterabbit said to file a player complaint instead due to antag involvement Approximate Date/Time: 30.10.2017, 22:50 UTC Details Regarding the Incident: Raiders have boarded the station and security was outmanned. HoS Eliade has handed Visitor Halstere a shotgun (According to Eliade they are a Off Duty HoS) After the situation in cargo has been dealt with and before all raiders could be apprehended Halstre went to the merchant that was currently docked with the station and attempted to sell the gun and the spare ammo to the merchant. In my opinion that is absolutely unbecoming of a Head of Security (even if they are off duty) as they should know much better than to sell a much needed weapon to a mechant for personal gain during a code blue with hostiles on the station. Chat Transcipt: Autovendatronic says, "Excuse me, a moment." Autovendatronic says, "Oh." Kalren Halstere clears his throat. Autovendatronic says, "A gun." Kalren Halstere says, "I am here to sell this." Autovendatronic stes forwards, again. Autovendatronic asks, "You are?" Kalren Halstere says, "Indeed." Autovendatronic asks, "Can I see it?" Kalren Halstere handed the pump shotgun to Autovendatronic. Kalren Halstere says, "A fully loaded shotgun, of course." Kalren Halstere says, "With shells." Autovendatronic removes a shotgun shell from the pump shotgun. Autovendatronic inserts a shotgun shell into the pump shotgun. Autovendatronic says, "Hmn.." Kalren Halstere says, "And, I have a second box." Autovendatronic says, "I'm not sure." Autovendatronic says, "Rather... old, one might say." Kalren Halstere holds up the box of shotgun shells. Take a closer look. Autovendatronic says, "Scarred." Autovendatronic says, "But." Kalren Halstere says, "Historical." Autovendatronic says, "I am willing to take it." Kalren Halstere says, "Reliable. Yes." Autovendatronic asks, "How much would you charge?" Autovendatronic asks, "1500 credits?" Kalren Halstere says, "No more than a few hundred credits." Kalren Halstere says, "Ah-" Kalren Halstere says, "That is acceptable." Autovendatronic says, "A few hundred."

Yup, monkey, frawa and /those other/ cubes are available. All under hydroponics.

Actually, I just noticed an issue that might have caused glass, plastic and wood not to show up. Should be fixed now and show up next round. And the name has been updated aswell to reflect that you are ordering a stack

Archiving since its not a suggestion, but a bug

You can already get a laptop from a laptop vending machine or science and download the cargo order app. Then enter your order details there and track the order.

[2 dismissals; Archive: 30.10.2017]Remove Nitrogen from Engine room
Arrow768 replied to ToasterStrudel's topic in Archive
Well, the difference between nitrogen and phoron is, that nitrogen makes up 79% of the air around you. So its extremely cheap compared to phoron. Since a nitrogen setup works ingame there is no need to remove the nitrogen cans from the engine room. Removing the nitrogen cans from the engine will not remove the problem that certain players do not know how to setup the engine. Worst case they will just turn it on without gas. Best case they will find any other gas canister and connect it. Therefore supporting the vote for dismissal. -
Thats what this topic is about: To point out items that are missing from cargo. Regarding Ambrosia: I could not find a supply pack that contains ambrosia vulgaris.

[2 dismissals; Archive: 30.10.2017].Provide a bodyguard for the merchant
Arrow768 replied to alexpkeaton's topic in Archive
Supporting the vote for dismissal. As explained by CCIA, there is no need for a merchant bodyguard. -
"The spreadsheet" is referring to a excel spreadsheet I pulled from the DB quite a while back. (So no, its not updating dynamically) That has been handed to the lore team to specify the suppliers for the items and the prices. Since I never heard back from them, the system has gone live with the following formula for the prices: If there is no supplier specified, a default Supplier NT is created with 1.5 times the Merchant Price. And it is intentional that the merchant is cheaper than the "default NT" supplier. Regarding shuttle times and prices: Its possible to configure different shuttle times and prices for different suppliers. But that is again up to the lore team to make a suggestion for the times / prices as well as what items should be shipped by what supplier A very important thing to note is that there are no crates in new cargo. Every item that was previously in a crate is/should be available on its own.
