Wigglesworth Jones
BYOND key: Wigglesworth JonesCharacter names: Sorry for the bad formatting: Everett Smith, Fulton Skaw, Charles Hepiner, Edward Sholl, Rick Prescott, Ka'Akaix'Viez Zo'ra, Ka'Akaix'Iskiir, Zo'ra, SC-SM-9172, Malcom Richards, Ronald Fields, Za'Akaix'Avik Zo'ra, IRU-Paul, Vincent Gallardi, David, Ka'Viax'Abav Zo'ra, Lance Brody, Acheron, Omari Etienam, Sabah El-Ahsan, Valeska Caladius, Geneva Lerato, How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Around a year and a half, if I remember correctly. Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: More job and character opportunities, mainly. Why did you come to Aurora?: Saw it on the server one day, and decided to try it out. Stuck with it because I enjoyed the first few rounds I had.Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?: Yes.Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? I have warnings and notes, but I have never been banned. My most recent warnings were for dominating someone on the shuttle and starting a fight, ordering items without sufficient IC reason, and for going SSD without heading to cryo. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: Roleplay is putting yourself in the body of another person and creating narratives about them and the people they interact with. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: Heads of staff assist new players in their department, and determine the course of the round. They are also supposed to make sure that their department runs efficiently and doesn't fall apart at the first setback. Having a Head of Staff also gives other members of the department more opportunities. For example, a Head of Security would be able to authorize training exercises for their department. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: Whitelisted players are examples or rolemodels for other people to follow. The best way for me to do that is to perform my job competently and professionally, while being accompanying to newcomers. For the most part, a head of staff should be an example of a realistic and high-quality character, and not a "meme." Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau Ceti and how it affected your character and their career? Tau Ceti is still recovering from the activities of the SLF, and tensions between Tajarans affiliated with different political factions are also rising, due to the civil war escalating. My Head of Personnel, Sam Campbell, is more wary of IPCs after the recent string of attacks, as he generally supports the status quo of indentured servitude in regards to synthetics. He has put additional effort into learning about the various political factions of the galaxy, to improve his communication. What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted?: I plan to try and play most if not all of the command roles, but I am specifically interested in being a Head of Security, consular, Head of Personnel, and eventually a captain. Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.: Sinclair Khaing, Head of Security Sam Campbell, Head of Personnel. Morne Ayomide, EPMC/Eridani consular. How would you rate your own roleplaying?: 8/10, I'd like to say I have improved my roleplaying over time, and have become more experienced Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? Yes. Have you familiarize yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles? I have, yes. Extra notes: It was this or apply for a Unathi whitelist, but I felt like I wanted this more. Carver
Experienced RPer with a wide variety of characters whom are generally enjoyable to interact with. I trust that he'd be quite responsible in the Command roles provided, and whilst vulnerable to the rare burst of fiery emotions from a heated round, I believe he's fully capable of working past that. +1 Link to comment
Nantei
Pretty cool gamer. I'd like to see him in a command role for sure. I think he can handle the responsibility well, and make a positive impact with it. Link to comment
Roostercat
Omari is always fim to see in a round, well rounded characters that are very memorable, +1 verified gamer Link to comment
DeadLantern
What's great is that he can play a variety of characters, who may have differing goals, psyches, matters of planning, etc, and play them to their fullest. A very well rounded roleplayer who can expand on one central idea that a character is focused on and help it blossom into a fully fledged character. Absolutely worth a trial just to see how he works under pressure. However, I've seen him be interim HoS, and when he's not traitor, he does it well. I want to see him trial! Link to comment
NewOriginalSchwann
Verified gamer +1 To be more serious he's got good characters from a variety of perspectives - I have no doubt he'll be ripping his hair out like the best of us as HoS shortly, and anything else I would say here has already been said above. BoryaTheSlayer
B0ss, wiggles is a fun person to RP with and just to talk with in general. Even though he's a disgusting sec main, I'm always glad to see more people in command, so I'd love to see you in your trial. Link to comment
Honto335
Wiggles is a fun person to play in a round with. I've had a lot of fun moments with Sholl and Omari. All in all Wiggles is a really good person to RP with, I think he could handle command easily. +1 After playing the first round with Wiggles as HoS, I can without a doubt say that I believe Wiggles is capable of handling command and providing a good example for those under them. Kryostro
Knows his peepee from his poopoo, but aside from the meme, he excels at showing that he is capable of roleplay and considerably able to order goons around when he needs to. There is nothing that makes me even consider that he won't be able to smack some faces if they backtalk him as HoS, he will be able to steer rounds in the right direction with this whitelist. Go get'em tiger! +1 Link to comment
ReadThisNamePlz
I will be granting you a command whitelist trial, during this trial, be active, gather feedback, and do your very best to play command throughout the week. Allakai
Wiggles? In Command? I bet Wiggles is the kinda person that pours milk before his cereal like a heathen... -1 In all seriousness, Wiggles has been a very thoughtful member of the community as far as I have known him sometime last year around... November I want to say? I have had little issues with him. Wiggles surprisingly has a lot of patience, while sometimes I do poke and tease him for having no patience despite him having quite a bit, I can say he holds these traits well as a command position here on the NSS Aurora. I can fully get behind Wiggles and his command position with full respect and appreciation +1 (I had to make it really big so Wiggles could see it) Link to comment
Schmuck Lord
Wiggles as a player has been a consistently good representation of the kind of role-play that people should come to expect from the Aurora: Sec-man Bad. That being said there is no reason that anyone should bar him from pursuing his time making the Aurora a better place through influencing the round in a Command Position. His characterization is solid, he's always a joy to see in round and as far as can be seen, he doesn't have any glaring flaws in his style of play that would make him disqualified for a command position. +1 Link to comment
zyymurgy
Khaing seems like a legit dude. I couldn't tell that he was a 'new' character because he seemed to be properly in place in the setting; functioned as expected as if there was already some experience at it. No complaints, in fact: +1 Edited October 21, 2019 by zyymurgy Link to comment
Brutishcrab51
Hey, big +1. I love Wigglesworth, but I haven't found it in me to post on applications yet. I had some free time today, so I figured I might as well say it. He's a good player, he's active, he's got an OOC attitude and he's a friend of mine. We talk in-Discord at least every other day. He could handle a Command whitelist just as well as everyone else. Link to comment
NewOriginalSchwann
Alright I just played under Khaing a few hours back in a hectic and quite weird merc round, and he held it all together. He's a good head of security, and a good character to boot. This application has my GAMER +1 Link to comment
Shenaanigans
I'm still new here myself, but I certainly wouldn't have guessed that Sinclair Khaing was new to the Head of Security role based on what I saw! They immediately took charge ICly with their character as soon as they entered the round, delegating tasks in an efficient way that kept the department occupied, and continued doing so even when things got a bit crazy due to ninjas warping about. Much more focused on dialogue and peaceful resolution than jumping into a firefight, too, so in my opinion they're doing a very good job of the HoS command role thus far. Have a +1! Link to comment
Screemers
I recognize a few names in the list and I had good time playing with him, I think he is doing good in a command role. +1 Link to comment
