DatBerry Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 BYOND Key: DatBerry Game ID: bMC-cefF Player Byond Key: Riqplay_Dagasd Staff involved: None, except catnip for checking ckey to make sure. Reason for complaint: Shitty Tajara play in general. I was going to make a character complaint at first, but then i remember all their tajara characters are awful. First it's his security cat, sanu'dra; So overly aggressive that he puts the unathi aggressiveness meme to shame, this character will literally walk into the brig and ask "who does he kill!?" will frequently try to behead antags even if they didn't interact with them much and put them on spears, and over all too damn aggressive on antag rounds so you can never make an IR about it. i was even told he was once low-key asking a HoS to let him kill a prisoner. Secondly, his even worse clone, the science tajara Kahketkirran Darkrawakra, my first interaction with them ever ended up with https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=7543 and after i made the report they just vanished, now i see them back again and here i am, writing a complaint. for people who dont want to read the IR, he put on force gloves and kept shoving me around on the escape shuttle infront of everyone, force gloves that were contraband since the RD i asked said they didnt approve them, ignoring all the witnesses that could get him fired they just goofed off for no reason, assaulting other employees. the second time i met him he was standing next to the HoS and in view of everyone, shoved a knife into his boot, and then resisted arrest and ran off. i honestly don't know how this character would keep his job at this point and is basically breaking immersion due to CCIA's incompetence. Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? just to ask for the ckey. Approximate Date/Time: last incident was today, 19th of jan around 14:30 station time.
SierraKomodo Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Regarding Sanu'dra, something I've noticed in rounds is a disregard of self-preservation, and statements by him in person or over radio about how he'll just be cloned if he dies.
Faris Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=7646 Just going to leave this here.
Jennalele Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 I'd also note that he seems to have random and incredibly poorly-portrayed "PTSD episodes" whenever he seems to be OOCly bored by the round. His behaviour is honestly flat-out embarassing for me to watch at times.
sonicgotnuked Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Ooh boy, I honestly stay away from security most of my rounds but I gonna put in some knowledge. First, cats are not about being, "Muh PTSD flashbacks all the time." that shit should be reserved for antag shit or being gassed with mind breaker toxins. Also I am not tooooo sure about it but he could be the cat who decided to activate gold core Slime in misc science?
UnknownMurder Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Yesterday, I was playing as Captain Hans Tarkin during the heist round, as soon as we're going to make the exchange with the heisters (ForgottenTraveller & NoahKirchner). The exchange was only was fuckton of food and booze, and we met the demands. I was going to meet with the officers to discuss course of action if they ever attempted to double cross us. Sanu'dra was the first person to ever suggest to kill the intruders and verbally refused to capture them, giving up hope on the security officers and told them off to do whatever you want. Then, we met at the arrivals bay, I told the officers (Mazdato is involved now), to remind them to shoot lethals to MAIM. Mazdato was okay with it, but Sanu'dra seemingly refused. As said, the exchange was done and the demands were met without having to resort to violence or double cross. This another incident a while ago (Mercenary Round), I also reported as Drake Bond, that Sanu'dra was refusing to listen to my orders and went ahead to shoot lethals randomly, Sanu'dra was the first character to draw the fire. I am sure it was Muncorn who responded to my adminhelp and ruled it off as IC Issue (Unknown Game ID & Unknown Date because I almost completely forgot about this). Because this was ruled off as IC issue, I assumed that the first paragraph could also been ruled of as IC issue. I have no idea what is on the moderator's checklist to be considered an IC issue or not. If it was an IC issue, and it's a antag round. I didn't bother writing up the incident report, it's voided because of heavy antag involvement. The clear issue is: Sanu'dra has a lust to kill and ravage everything antag-related in her path, like that one particular player who leans too much against the antag involvement and shuts their gimmick down. Take it as you will.
Muncorn Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I'll jump in. I somewhat remember the round that UM is referencing, and had I known this was a recurring case (and though I've not seen anything else mentioned here, nor does he have notes on the matter), I am not surprised in the slightest. Khaz always struck me as overly violent, moreso than most others. But, I'll wait for the verdict on this, though I'm not seeing a happy ending here.
Susan Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I'd just like to point out that police men are taught if they're ever forced to draw their weapon it has to be with the intent to kill. Shooting someone lethally to 'maim' them is cruel and unusual and illegal. If you tell someone to use lethal force, then you need to expect them to use it to kill someone. A lethal weapon is dangerous and it shouldn't be drawn if you don't intend to kill.
Scheveningen Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Reported a few days ago to an admin about Sanu'dra having a snippet in his records how they allegedly got off an attempted murder charge (paraphrased record was that Sanu'dra had cut open the throat of a civilian at a bar over insults) because there wasn't enough proof to the case... despite the fact that the situation happened in a public place such as a bar. I've no idea what prosecutor wouldn't have gone all the way in putting someone like that into permanent imprisonment. How do you get off of an attempted murder charge? It's literally impossible, the evidence and witness testimonies must either not exist or be so circumstantial that it is flimsy.
Faris Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Did he stop playing? Haven't seen him in a bit.
Fire and Glory Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Did he stop playing? Haven't seen him in a bit. I've seen Sanu'dra come onboard the station as a visitor today, they're still around.
Pyrociraptor Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 I would like to also add a validhunting behavior. Yesterday, (aka 15 February 2017), As a ninja, I was holding the Chief Engineer hostage (Harrison Moore), and I had shown my capacity of generating an energy blade. He came with his Engineer character, Robert Phillips, wielding a spear, rushed to me, and speared me in the head a few times before I could even finish my sentence. Even though I managed to kill him (letting my hostage off), that action fucked the rest of my round, giving me brain damage and internal bleeding, leading to my death a good moment later.

Relating to that, his response in dead chat was mostly made up of stuff like "Well at least I managed to break his skull :^)". His main interests seem to just be combat with antags regardless of this role or character.
Mofo1995 Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Hello, its time for me to weigh in on my part regarding whitelistee behavior as a Tajara. Being a former Tajaran soldier or just generally having PTSD from the war is not an excuse to arbitrarily attack others or to divine a a reason to attack others from nothing. Being an M'sai is also not a sufficient excuse to do so. I don't particularly see evidence here that being an M'sai Tajara (though according to the WI, the whitelistee has stuck with the Hharar/Njarir body type instead of switching over to M'sai, be sure to make the change in the species selector!) with PTSD is the specific excuse for aggressive behavior, but the behavior itself being consistently as a Tajaran character makes it my concern. If the allegations are true, then this just doesn't meet my standards for proper Tajara. No amount of being a former soldier or racial M'sai will make it okay to valid-hunt. There have been landmark decisions in the past in the era of Sue to crack down on sass cats who use insults of any severity at them as an excuse to attack others, and I fully intend to uphold this policy. If the administration finds the complaint to be true, this whitelist will be on thin ice. Reports with evidence or proof of further misconduct after the warning would lead to Riqplay losing his whitelist. If not, then he's clear until I can be provided with proof of wrongdoing.
TrickingTrapster Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 I've seen this complaint lying around for long enough, so I'll be the one to resolve this. I'll do some digging and come up with a verdict.
Snoopy11 Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Riqpley seems to have stopped playing the main target in question, and in my opinion, seems to have cooled his jets a little. This at-least comes from my experiences with his new Tajara Fahurl (Probably spelt wrong) and generally seems to stand back, rather than chase them valids. Though admittedly I have had a somewhat limited interaction.

I have as well, he seems more tolerant of antagonists. I would like to drop my previous statement, I no longer have an issue with Riqpley considering how much time has passed and Riqpley has made use of the time.
TrickingTrapster Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Right then. This ended up being short and simple. I have spoken to most people that posted in this complaint. And I have talked to Riqpley. As it turns out, he is fully aware of this complaint and has been purposely trying to improve his behavior, and deleted Sanu'dra altogether. He acknowledges the complaints made against him here, and there have been reports of him improving. As such, I will not take any admin action against him, but I will ask people to keep a watchful eye for potential slipping back into his old behavior. That is all.
