Echoing the thought of coloration. Just changing color schemes on the fly like this are not a good idea. Navy blue with white striped would be good, as it fits NT and also isn't something any of the other corps use atm. besides the weird pink colors, the sprites look good.

There have been way too many cases of people getting lasered and then their lungs popping for me to actually believe this. Lasers also boil blood away and leave high chance of infection (which is probably the most annoying thing in the game). The way I see it, Lasers are more lethal overall, they just take longer to kill somebody, whilst Ballistics are more deadly in shorter bursts due to arterials and the like.

I can also echo the sentiment behind Goldman. There have been many times where he really pushes the self antagging rule. Constantly forcing Security to release changelings and/or stepping into a cell with them, trying to hire traitors as NT assassins, and so on. There has even been a time where my character was ordered to go to the brig to go face to face with a changeling who claimed to have every intent on murdering me, and I was threatened with arrest if I didn't go. That was frustrating enough to just make me want to cryo, so I did. On top of this, it feels like Goldman does not actually do his job as Captain whilst this all happens. A lot of requests go ignored, Red alert is put on forever, I don't believe I have ever seen him send a fax to central despite multiple reminders. On one round, there was a hostage situation in the brig. He ordered all security to it, as would be expected. The problem is that a hivebot invasion just north of medical then occurred. Goldman ordered all security to stay in the bridge, and threatened them if they tried to leave to deal with the hivebots. These hivebots then broke into medical, forcing everyone to run away, and the round went on like this for another hour to two hours on red alert because Goldman refused to let security do anything about it, and transfer could not be called because of the Red Alert. Goldman also adamantly REFUSED to call the emergency shuttle to save his IC reputation. Normally, I'd be willing to support the app as I know Sleepy is a good roleplayer that can be competent, but I cannot bring myself to support it as long as Goldman behaves like this.

Aside from that, I have multiple people claiming you have refused to do searches after this as a result, such as the second time that person was brought in. As a side note, you were being told not to STRIP SEARCH the person, not to stop searching entirely. Again, this is exactly what I did, hence the reason you weren't punished for any of this.

The affect on events is a valid concern, as events only happen once. So if you miss it with your character, you miss it. This already causes quite a lot of anger from people who get their slots outrolled during events as is, but adding this into the mix might make things a little more chaotic when they roll around. Though that's more hypothetical than anything.

There is no one right way to play this game. If people want to player one character, then they are welcome to do that. This change should not be implemented because people need to “branch out” as this caters to only SOME players whilst hurting others, and sets a bad precedent.

I think a creature that can give you hallucinations/mental trauma from staring at it could be interesting. Maybe make skrell and people with psionic receivers immune to the effect as well. if you stare at it too long you get the messages from the rev aggression implant so your char flies off the handle for a lil bit

The reason I kept out the rest of the ticket was because prior to that was the beginning of the ticket. it doesn't have anything important in it, as you can clearly see. In addition, you DID go on a tangent, as, again, everyone can clearly see. You started ranting about what was essentially a side comment as I repeatedly tried to get back to the actual issue. I am also not at fault for the fact you were Ahelped to begin with, as you are tying to insue. We got the ticket, I took it, and tried to figure out what happened and if you broke any rules. I decided you didn't, and closed the ticket. All that said, this complaint still makes very little sense.

Right. I have screenshots of the entire ticket here. To reiterate, this entire ticket was for something else entirely, and you went of a large tangent, with an extremely aggressive attitude, over a minor thing. [Note: Screenshots removed in favor of logs below] These screenshots show your horrid attitude over something very minor, show you dodging the questions in the ticket, and show that I never once insulted you, and I did actually look at the logs for the door, stating that the only log present (in this case the fingerprint log) was well before the ticket was opened. I tried to go back to the original ticket topic, but you kept going back to this. I still see nothing wrong with my actions, not to mention I did not even punish you for any of this, even though in hindsight I probably should have, so I do not understand the point of this complaint.

The flash is meant to be a last resort self defense to blind someone and run away. It is not meant to actually overpower an attacker. Replacing this with what amounts to an instastun WILL lead to validhunting, on top of it being overpowered to begin with. Instastuns do not contribute to RP and are essentially a win button, thus they are not a good idea. -1

Article #14 of the Court of Queens Arc Zeng-Hu offers Zo’ra and K’lax a New Deal Following the events of late, namely the Genetic Theft lawsuit against the Zo’ra and the riots in District Nine, Zeng-Hu Pharmaceuticals has once again expressed immense dissapointment in the C’thur hive. “While we will remain to be strong partners of High Queen C’thur and her Lesser Queens, we believe now is the time to start opening up to the rest of the hives in the spur, namely in the maintenance of the new lifeforms.”, quoted from a Zeng-Hu representatives, shows the Corporation’s new plans to offer maintenance and equipment to the new ‘Bulwark’ caste of Vaurca society, for a cost. Essentially, Zo’rane and K’laxan Bulwarks will now receive the same maintenance equipment as the C’thur hive does, to compensate for the events of late. Since Zeng-Hu Pharmaceuticals was also involved in the development of the Bulwark caste, although less-so than the Jargon Federation, they claim to have the knowledge to maintain them as well. Article #13 of the Court of Queens Arc Flagsdale Conflict Comes to an End! The violent, riot-like clashes in flagsdale have come to an end following the repair of the NanoTrasen Hivenet Relay in the center of District Nine. Shortly after K’lax engineers confirmed the now working state of the relay, High Queen Ta’Akaix’Vaur’skiyet’sca Zo’ra issued a order for all Ak’riix to immediately stand down or be culled. Violence saw a sharp drop after this order, and over the past few hours, has grinded to a halt as the pockets of Ak’riix dispersed, heeding the High Queen’s demands. Soon, Mendell City Police plan to dismantle the perimeter made around Flagsdale, allowing traffic to flow through once again. President Dorn has made a statement on the matter. “As the conflict in Flagsdale comes to an end, I would like to thank, personally, the High Queens of both the K’lax and Zo’ra hives for pushing to see this conflict come to an end. I have been assured the individuals responsible will be disciplined - under our own court system - and sincerely hope to never see such a terrible thing occur again in our Republic.” In another session of the ‘Court of Queens’ following this disaster, Ta'Akaix'Vytel'hyr'tkud C'thur proclaimed that it was still Zo’rane warriors who started the conflict, Queenless or not, and that C’thur has seen this as a hostile action against their hive, although the Queen later admitted she appreciated the Zo’ra’s quick response to the fighting breaking out. Article #12 of the Court of Queens Arc Violence in Flagsdale! Following the news of the recent lawsuit lost by the C’thur Hive, violence has erupted in Mendell City’s District Nine, commonly referred to as ‘Flagsdale’. Sometime this morning, a truck carrying five ‘Bulwark’ caste Vaurca from the C’thur hive crashed into an apartment building after an unidentified Zo’rane warrior shot at the wheels of the truck with an automatic weapon. The warrior in question is reportedly affiliated with the Ak’riix, or ‘Venom Mandibles’, a general term for a gang of Queenless criminals among the Flagsdale population. The crash resulted in the death of three of the five Bulwarks inside the vehicle, with the remaining two escaping with heavy injuries. Shortly after this, the same Warrior that fired on the vehicle was assaulted by multiple C’thuric warriors in the area, which resulted in more Ak’riix appearing on the street. This has resulted in a deadly spiral of conflict that has erupted in clashes all across the district. Lesser Queen Ta’Akaix’Athvur’zezkt’azi Zo’ra has stated that the Zo’ra hive in no way called for this violence, and has since ordered the Queenless to stand down immediately. This action has however seen limited effect on the conflict at large due to a combination of various Ak’riix cells not obeying the order, and the NanoTrasen operated Hivenet Relay Tower in the center of the district being damaged during the chaos. The latter has resulted in the loss of long range Hivenet communication outside of Biesel proper temporarily. It is believed the reason the Queenless have disobeyed this order is the fact that Queenless Vaurcae tend to only obey the commands of the High Queen of their hive, following their own codes otherwise. This means that High Queen Ta’Akaix’Vaur’skiyet’sca Zo’ra is unable to contact Ak’riix cells, since she is currently on the planet Caprice. The K’lax Hive has already offered assistance in repairing the Relay Tower, at least until long range communications are running once again. Interestingly, it seems that warriors from Lesser Queen Ta’Akaix’Zoleth’akeh Zo’ra’s brood have engaged some groups of the Ak’riix agitators who refused the order to stand down. Zoleth herself has justified this by claiming the Ak’riix warriors were ‘defective’ and would only keep the violence going until they were subdued. Mendell City Police have struggled to contain the situation, with emergency service lines strained to their limit. The Police have created a perimeter around the district, not allowing anyone other than emergency personnel or wounded to enter or leave the area. This has called into question the ability of Mendell City Authorities to handle conflicts. Date: 10/27/2463

Article #11 of the Court of Queens Arc C’thur Loses Lawsuit Against the Zo’ra! After the events of the past few weeks, the lawsuit against the Zo’ra Hive by the C’thur has been concluded, with the resolution that the Zo’ra and, by extension, the K’lax will be permitted to use and produce the Bulwark caste at their whim. Einstein Engines representatives have stated the decision was unjust, and biased in favor of the Zo’ra due to their services to the Republic of Biesel. While no official statement regarding this claim has been made, NanoTrasen authorities state the rumor to be a baseless accusation made as an attempt to lash out after their ‘failure’. Ta'Akaix'Vytel'hyr'tkud C'thur, “The Just Queen”, has denounced the decision, and has proclaimed any Bulwark of any hive outside of the C’thur are “Naught but the product of villainy and unjust action.”, and other statements deploring their existence. At this time, there is no indication the Lesser Queen intends to act on her beliefs regarding the matter. Ta'Akaix'Mouv'lek'tanta C'thur, “The Recondite Queen” , has expressed immense disappointment in the Republic of Biesel’s Court system, but has agreed to respect the decision.

Article #10 of the Court of Queens Arc K’lax Sides With The Zo’ra In a surprising turn of events, this morning High Queen Ta’Zkaii'xay'yil K’lax presented her hive’s support of the Zo’ra in relation to their use of the new ‘Bulwark’ bodyform, recently claimed to have been stolen from the C’thur hive in an act of espionage. “One cannot simply lock an entire new species behind vague laws, keeping their usefulness out of reach for the rest of society. Especially if said laws themselves have not been broken.”, quoted from the High Queen herself during another session of the newly arranged ‘Court of Queens’ on Caprice, shows the K’laxane view on the matter. Ta’Akaix’Vytel’hyr’tkud C’thur has expressed outrage at the comment, exclaiming that theft is still theft, regardless of what the stolen item is, in this case genetic code. The Lesser Queen still calls for legal action to be brought against the Zo’rane Hive, and is now starting to direct the same sentiment towards the K’lax, as multiple K’laxane Bulwarks have now been sighted. On a related note, there has been a rise in tension within Mendell City’s ninth district, ‘Flagsdale’, where there have been multiple reports of standoffs between Vaurca of varying allegiances. So far, only a few have escalated to violence, with none resulting in extensive injury. Date: 10/22/2463

As another note, it makes very little sense to me that you would try to justify trying to force money out of me by saying you had new responsibilities as a lore developer, and then a month later, here you are applying for a Spriter position. is this new workload now totally irrelevant all of a sudden?

I said multiple times ,and you can even see the min the screenshots you yourself posted, that the problem was that you agreed to help us, did half of it, knowing this entire time you were going to have a new workload, then halted the project alltogether trying to demand money from me and wasting our time. The new things you were doing were not on a hard time limit, were not urgent, and you still tried to charge me money for something yo ualready agreed to do. I do not consider these good qualities for someone trying to be a spriter for the server. Also, petty insults are not going to get you anywhere, I have not insulted you as a person this entire time, I am just stating what happened and why I believe the things I do.

You are still not being truthful. This is not true, the PR was never hidden, and you did in fact know about it, as you sent a message about when it got a Do Not Merge tag. The reason I did not mention this is because I gave credit in the vaurca announcements on the lore discord, and I never said you didn't do anything, I said you only did some sprites, which is still true. This is ALSO untrue, as Desven can also attest to. The most amount of arguing done was over design details such as how long sleeves should be and related matters, which is perfectly normal for spriting, making it even more concerning if this is something you cannot handle whilst applying for a Spriter position. As for the organization, at the very beginning I gave you a short list of what was needed, and that was all I ever expected or needed you to do, and later on in the project once organization was brought up, Desven even made a google doc showing EXACTLY what was needed, whether or not it was done, and who did it if so . (Which again, I never asked you or the other artist to do, I merely said you could help if you so chose to.) This is when I specifically said you both could help with more sprites if you wanted to. (The scratched out name is the other artist, who I will not involve here unless they choose to be involved). This is important because, again, I only ever asked for the short list. This is also not true. Desven started making more sprites because he felt it would be good if the Bulwark had more than the bare minimum at release, which he did of his own volition. You did not mention this at all prior to being accepted. You should never have agreed to help us with this if you knew full well you were going to have a bigger workload soon, and even then, dumping a pricetag on us right after you had said workload made it feel like charging us for the rest was thought of beforehand. Do not talk about the price as if the "measly 2$ per sprite" is just something anyone is willing to throw in. You agreed to do the sprites, did half the work, and then demanded money for the rest, all while knowing beforehand you could have the additional workload problem. Which I still hold as horrible conduct for someone who wants to become a developer for the server. This is ALSO not true. We did not decide to not go with their iteration. I said multiple times that I was willing to, and wanted to use their sprites as an alternate version to the current ones. The fact they up and decided to do all of that work, and then out of the blue refuse to let us use any of the sprites is by no means the fault of me, Desven, or you.
