Back when I was making the Vaurca augment sprites Haydizzle was one of the people guiding my pepsi-fueled hunk of meat brain through the process of learning how to sprite with paint.net, and without his help it would have taken SIGNIFICANTLY longer to do, so I am confident he will be able to contribute well as a spriter, not to mention the work he has already done is exemplary. +1

Peppermints been around since I left my hiatus 2+ years ago (or something like that) and has consistently been one of the best players, roleplay wise and mechanics wise, on the server since. Her attitude is fantastic when it comes to the game and whatever else and she tries to help with whatever issues people might be having, which makes for a good moderator. I very much doubt Peppermint will disappoint and look forward to seeing what happens! +1

BYOND Key: Roostercat12 Game ID: caU-ddXq/caU-dBiY - This is the changeling round. Unfortunately, I am not sure WHICH of these two it is, only that it is one of them due to discord not stating the time posts are made after 24 hours. ca2-aA9k - The welderbombing ca3-aJ9g - More bombing. Player Byond Key/Character name: CarsonEagle Staff involved: Witchbells was involved for the welderbombing round, No idea who was for the other rounds. Reason for complaint: Extremely poor antagonist play. Joey Miami's player, CarsonEagle, has consistently played an antagonist very poorly over the past few weeks, and it has come to the point where I have no confidence they will change, and thus decided to make this complaint. They have stated that they think they are in the right with these instances, which screenshots will show below, and I think CarsonEagle should be banned from antagonist play until he can somehow prove he can properly do it. Instead of a huge paragraph, I will state three separate instances I have round ID's and/or evidence for. There have been many more examples than these, but I lack the evidence beyond anecdotal and I believe three examples is enough to show he should not be allowed to play antagonist. caU-ddXq/caU-dBiY - The changeling This round is present due to Joey Miami's changeling play. The round started, and at about 7 minutes into the round, Joey Miami had decapitated the chef with an armblade. At this point he was, of course, found out and immediately ran into maintenance, hiding in a locker for most of his time until security finally found said locker, detained him, and put him into xenobiology. I do not find it very hard to see how this is poor antagonist play. With seven minutes, there is no way the chef mentioned had anywhere near enough roleplay or escalation to justify such a fast death, and the running and hiding in a locker for a lot of the round did not at all help the image, as no roleplay was done in this time either (granted, this could have been due to dealing with an ahelp). ca2-aA9k - Welderbombing During this round, around three welderbombs were detonated, at least one by Joey Miami - I am not POSITIVE the other two were him, only pretty sure - and they completely devastated the station. To my knowledge, not a great amount of escalation was done, and this was another very early big move. Allegedly started at 27 minutes into the round or thereabouts. They blew up most of medical, killing a good amount of people, and vented most of the station and more or less ruined the entire round. I know the least about this round. Allegedly at some point in the round he explained himself in dchat like this, which further makes me believe he does not have the correct mindset to be playing antagonist. It suggests he didn't really care about any roleplay or story, but instead just wants to "blow shit up". If he actually said this, it will show up in the round logs. ca3-aJ9g - Implant bombing During this round, CarsonEagle played as a burglar doing a gimmick in the holodeck. At some point one officer decided to suddenly teargas him. He then detonated an implanted bomb, killing around ten people. While this does sound valid, my main issue here is his reasoning for doing so, and I have evidence in the form of screenshots this time of him saying things in dchat. His reasoning for detonating the implant was that, because sec "ruined his gimmick", he felt he was obligated to ruin the entire round, as in for everyone playing, by detonating a bomb and venting the station. The wording is what I believe is important here, he didn't want to kill the sec officer that tried to arrest him, he wanted to ruin the round instead. The screenshot below is to show the part about the one officer acting alone. During this entire argument he kept using the excuse "im just memeing" to justify his actions for both this round and others, which both makes no sense and is not a valid justification for repeated poor antag play. These are, again, but three examples in a long line of poor antagonist play, but these three are the only ones I remember actual Round ID's or have screenshots pertaining to, and only have anecdotal evidence for the rest. Anyone with further evidence is encouraged to post it pertaining to his antagonist play. Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? No, because all instances were bad enough to where I was confident someone else was doing it first, and didn't want to spam the admins with ahelps. All three did result in an ahelp, but I do not know the result or who participated in any of them aside from @witchbells participating in the second. To an extent this already exists. Nowadays for some reason I am not entirely 100 percent on, it takes fucking AGES for people's lungs to work again after the healing surgery, meaning they need to be watched during which time the surgeon may be needed elsewhere. In addition you have infections, drug side effects, and trauma that is being really stubborn to contend with after surgery is already over with.

I dislike this. This REALLY cuts out any variety the department has left after the alt titles were removed and turns everyone in the department into all knowing super doctors, which is already a complaint with some surgeons.

I’ve always found it ridiculous that the damn JANITOR has more access than the job literally dedicated to keeping people alive. +1

A while ago there was a suggestion to implement something called Corruption Cult. In a nutshell it essentially makes it so that instead of having to force people into conversion with violence various items and abilities slowly made crewmembers exposed to them more insane over time, with the crew having ways to lower this corruption as well. I don't remember ALL the details but the suggestion is somewhere on the forums still and I think its a step in the right direction. The above suggestion of using our own in universe lore religions as cult is also based as hell though.

I think this would be a benefit. With the current system armor doesn't really feel like armor since all it does is make bullets hurt a tiny bit less, so someone with a shitload of it can still get magdumped and bleed to death regardless of what he is wearing. +1

While this does not remove extended, it DOES remove secret extended, meaning people are always going to expect antags (and even a suspected list of which at that) and char development and relaxed roleplay is going to be damn near impossible as everyone is waiting for the bad men to appear. Not to mention normal extended needs to supercede all the other votes which is very unlikely to happen often with the current crowd. And thus I really don't like this.

In my eyes the IAC has always been an organization characters can belong to secondarily to NT, such as the TCFL. Chars can be a part of it, but are still just NT employees on station regardless. I think it should stay that way, because the IAC is a non profit humanitarian group and not a corporation that sells its workers around. -1

Faye is a fun person to be with IC and fairly competent at the same time, enough so that I believe they would make a good CMO. Excellent OOCly as well, and incredibly approachable. +1

Following the general procedure for such I donned a full biosuit for protection with internals, and worked to remove the infection, luckily before it could spore. After incinerating contaminated items and the Kois, I returned upstairs to make a final scan of Astra before releasing her. At this point I learned, from Astra's own words, that the reason this outbreak had occurred was due to Astra creating a strain of Explosive K'ois and an 'experiment' that seemed to only entail her throwing said K'ois at a wall in her laboratory eleven times whilst wearing none of the appropriate safety gear. She wore only a gas mask and a dress, without informing anyone that such an experiment was going to happen so that we could be ready in the event of an outbreak. Once asking her why she did not use the biosuit given to her in a locker, she stated that the suit is faulty and does not work. Which, later on in the shift, Taika Thomson confirmed with a Reisha experiment. Though at this point, the question then veers away from why she was not wearing a suit, to why she was conducting an experiment with a highly dangerous Fungus whilst informing nobody, with one person on station qualified to treat mycosis, knowing there was no available PPE to protect from infection. Which is as dangerous to the rest of the station, including the one person qualified to handle it, as it is to her. This means she endangered the lives of everyone on the station for an experiment she knew was absurdly hazardous, running past multiple people in medbay with no internals, coughing. She had also claimed that she had done this "hundreds of times" and that this has never happened. Which I have been told by multiple people, was a flat lie. Meaning this is not even the first incident of her endangering lives. After a discussion that lasted around twenty minutes revealing the above information for which Neith Mekesatis was present, Astra left the medbay and resumed her duties. At this point, I walked to security and had asked the Warden to watch what Astra was doing in Xenobotany in case something more had happened later in the shift. At this point, Astra left to the representative's office, of which was occupied by Bjorn Agni-son, a Zavodskoi representative to talk about the incident and the possibility of an IR. At this time Taika Thomson had woken up from cryostasis and I had informed him of the events. After confirming that Astra was still insisting on not attempting to use any form of protection to continue the same experiments that caused the incident, Taika performed a test with Reishi that confirmed the Biosuit and gasmask were indeed faulty. Afterward, Taika came to medbay so the resulting Reishi poisoning could be rectified, and another argument surfaced both over radio and in medbay as Astra tried, once again, to defend using no PPE to conduct experiments with K'ois, stating "My aim is faulty" for the reason as to why the previous mycosis case had occurred, and "I have done this hundred of times" as reasoning to keep going. The argument over general radio was between Bjorn Agni-son and Neha Koepple revolving the incident, but it was mostly just Bjorn trying to defend Astra from people questioning her methods while HAMMER-55 threatened to fine him for keeping it going. I don't think there is a single soul on the server that actually dislikes Mel. she is all in all a very likable person, who is competent in solving issues and directing players appropriately as needed, not to mention her performance last time was stellar from my view, so a big +1

Sorry it took this long for a response, but I have been busy with stuff™ To get to my problems with this application, the story is both in a weird format that is sortof hard to understand, and has a glaring problem. I am reaaaaaally not sure if characters on station can be former kataphracts. This is more unathi lore's decision, but I am unsure on whether NT would hire Kataphracts to the station. Not to mention the tidbit on the end that sounds almost like corporate espionage if I am interpreting that correctly. I also have some questions. 1) Which brood is Avek from, and how does this shape how they behave? 2) What is Avek's view on the Hegemony? 3) What is Avek's view on the other two hives? 4) Which religion does Avek follow, if any?

Following a brief announcement from High Queen Vaur’skiyet’sca of Hive Zo’ra, it has been determined that the Republic of Biesel will be allowing Hive Zo’ra to deploy over 8,000 Unbound Warriors and over 300 Warforms belonging to the Zo’ra that were previously being held under supervision in a facility codenamed ‘Dis’ on Caprice for the purposes of repelling the recent Solarian invasion force, with the majority of these warriors and warforms being from Lesser Queen Zoleth’s brood. These forces will likely be concentrated on a mix of both boarding Solarian vessels and repelling incursions on friendly vessels at the same time, playing a crucial role in both the offense and defense of the conflict, aiding the stressed TCFL and Corporate forces as they struggle to keep up with the 35th Fleet’s invasion. Due to the Vaurca being naturally resistant to the vacuum of space, they make stellar candidates for exterior boarding of vessels. At the time of writing, eight ships have surrendered to Vaurca boarding parties, with more assured to come in due time.
