  1. Hi. I'm satisfed enough with this app to accept it. Welcome to bug-dom
  2. Definitely a big improvement. The cornered table also gives more seats than it used to have. Can't wait to see it.
  3. Chief of Security is definitely better. Chief Security Officer kinda' downplays the role a lot. Just sounds like an officer that happens to be marginally more important than every other officer.
  4. Avowals Abolished as the Court of Queens Advance in Vaurca Rights Since the Vaurcae arrived in human space, special permits for them to join the workforce have been required. This trend began with Nanotrasen, shortly after the Zo’ra were taken as refugees in Biesel. As a means to ensure their quality and to generate trust, the megacorporation established Avowals of Responsibility. Soon after, others like Hephaestus Industries followed with their own iteration. However, as Vaurcae become more important to our society, avowals began to feel outdated. The topic of avowal abolition is not a new one: in 2461, High Queen Vaur and President Joseph Dorn discussed a work reform. The bill, however, did not go far. After the re-establishment of the Court of Queens in late 2463, abolition became a hot topic for all Hives. Efforts to ensure streamlined incorporation of Vaurca labor in human space began from day one, as it can be read in the public logs of the council. The results of the Inter-Hive organism are finally here. Last Sunday, Stellar Corporate Conglomerate representatives were invited to the Court of Queens’ chambers. The meeting concluded with positive results: the Vaurca civilization was named a friend of the SCC and avowals are no longer required for active employees of SCC facilities, namely the brand-new SCCV Horizon. Vaurca employment in human space is now coordinated by the brand-new Commission of Vaurcesian Affairs, located in New Sedantis, Caprice. They serve as liaisons between megacorporations and hive-cells, as well as provide all the necessary paperwork for Vaurca employees. Local regulations in Skrellian and Unathi space still apply, as well as any requirements from smaller businesses within Tau Ceti.
  5. Regarding the seperating wall, I liked it a lot more. it added some privacy and the sense that the kitchen was its own area instead of just being carved out of the hallway's wall. I would be happy to see that returned. As for the rest of the layout, I hardly even play chef so I have no real opinion on that side.
  6. Hi! I am satisfied enough with the app to think you have a decent grasp on our lore. Application accepted!
  7. This can pretty easily turn into funny guys that try to murder station chars on extended and things like that. It can get to the point of not being very believable as well. I'd prolly only support this if it was a rare event, like Deadlantern said. As an aside, Marooning is probably too intense for a stowaway, given marooning is a capital punishment iirc. Maybe just HuT.
  8. I think the non-canonicity of the ships is for the best. Having hostile ships constantly propping up would get old very fast, especially if they were all canon, so spacing them out with non-hostile ships and such would be good. The category system seems a good fit for this, though I still believe antagonistic ships should be rare.
  9. so it turns out Vrow is already fixing this oorah https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/13399
  10. This suggestion is to revert this PR:https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/13096 But why?: I really dislike these sprites for a few reasons. The chief one is that, while the sprites themselves are not that bad, they really clash with the style of most other items in medical. They look drastically different to things like sleepers or pills and this makes them look much worse in comparison. They are meant for Eris and Eris sprites, and look bad here. This is especially prevalent in the bluespace beaker, which looks like a wizard item more than a science produced item. Here is a picture of the current sprites for those that haven't really been paying attention to them: Another gripe is that the previous bottles had more variety. They came in different shapes and sizes instead of just this one bottle with very little changes other than color. The sprites being massive also makes them look worse to boot, even if they are easier to click. I'm not much opposed to the new syringes or dropper. Ultimately I think these sprites are worse than the ones we used to have, and believe this PR should be reverted to fix that.
  11. Hi. I'm satisfied with both the app and the answers to the questions provided by desven. App accepted!
  12. Right, sorry this took a while. I do actually remember your miner, and what happened was that you breached the station whilst out mining, walking in next to the TCFL shuttle, and then died. I know you are the right person in this, so I'm not too convinced on this argument. In addition, you also have other notes about breaking into OTHER places as a miner. Given all of this, I will be denying this appeal.
  13. Do you use a VPN?
  14. Hi. I know you are a competent roleplayer and I'm satisfied with the answers given to the questions. App Accepted!

  18. Very little about Vampire at face value makes it encourage ERP. Hypnosis and domination like abilities are not ERP-derived and are only taken there when someone too horny for their own good takes over. if that happens, you should ahelp, as is usual. As for the topic of other people not playing it either, everyone has different opinions. Just because you do not enjoy the gameplay of Vampire doesn't mean everyone else should hate it by default as well.
  19. That is not the full ban reason. This is. You were spraying people without any context or roleplay. You only said things after being confronted. I even saw you do this in medbay lobby. Stuff like this is covered in the rules, which you were supposed to read again, if you even did to begin with, since you had JUST been unbanned prior to this via appeal. On top of this your attitude suggests you still believe you have done nothing wrong, furthering the last point. You also started getting very snippy near the end of the ticket, which is not allowed. If anything reinstating your week ban was generous. Appeal Denied.
  20. Known Mel for a while, and I know they are a fantastic roleplayer. Also satisfied with the backstory and answers to questions. App Accepted.
  21. Hi, Vaurca Maintainer here. I will be taking this complaint since its 75 percent a question of whether or not the Vaurca involved were in the right. So, starting off, I do not see an issue with the Consular's behavior here. You walked up to them, insulted them, and they insulted you back. Consulars and Vaurca as a whole are allowed to do this. Ta are high in the social hierarchy of Vaurca, and while they are there to build relations, they are by no means required to be nice and accommodating to people actively talking down to them, threatening etc. I also do not view this as the Consular picking a fight, either. This is because, even by your own description, you are the one picking a fight here. This entire complaint essentially encompasses an entirely IC issue. There are two parts to this section, The calling of vaurca to their aid and the humanlike insults, so I'll tackle them one after the other. 1: Calling other Vaurca This is something Ta and other Vaurca do incredibly often, as others have said. Ta can, and are expected to, call other Vaurca to their aid in situations like this as they are very important in the hive's structure, and are revered in Vaurca society. There is no issue with doing things like this as long as the Vaurca attending are not currently busy with another emergency. 2: Humanlike insults While the Vaurca can be socially ignorant or confused, to the extent this goes is largely determined by the player. All three major hives are integrated into a species' society in some fashion, and all three also involve humans. Thus some Vaurca would know how humans speak and talk, and would know their insults as well. There is little issue with a Vaurca swearing as long as it is kept reasonable and there is a just cause for it. The Guwan calling falls under this umbrella as well. You insulted a Ta, so you got called a Guwan. Tit for tat. Do not expect Vaurca to just bow down to whatever insults are being flung at them, as retaliating back in this instance doesn't quite hurt the hive's reputation. Overall, this complaint reads like this: Unathi: Insults Ta Ta: Insults back and calls Vaurca after being threatened Unathi: Attacks And then a player complaint was made. This is an IC issue, and fits an incident report far more than a player complaint. If nobody else has anything to add, this will probably be locked and archived in 24 hours.
  22. Hi. First things first, I am not at all obliged to tell you what I actually did with the other person. Talking to them can mean a variety of things, so do not just assume I did nothing. Secondly, people are allowed to leave when they are uncomfortable with something happening, in this case the Thralling. How they did it was an issue, but not a massive one, and they were talked to about it. End of story. There is also zero obligation for staff to compensate you for anything that happened, additionally. Secondly, I believe you misunderstand how combat and Rp work together here. Most roleplay comes from the escalation of conflict and so on. When fighting starts, it is mostly whoever is the most robust that is allowed to win. Players go down when mechanics make them go down, not when they RP going down because they supposedly take a lot of damage. That is why this game HAS a mechanical side. Players do not have to just give up in a fight because you are a Vampire that just sucked their blood. You attacked Voight twice, letting him remember it both times, so he fought back the second time when he woke up. i consider this okay, as it is obvious you are attacking them and there was some escalation involved (the first attack) thus making it believable that they would protect themselves to the best of their ability, with their ability being determined by the mechanics the game has in place. Mechanics are there to supplement roleplay. There are two sides to the server, RP, and mechanical gameplay. Escalation before a fight + the aftermath is the RP side, and the actual fight is the mechanical side, with the game determining who goes down first and so on. Just because he fought you effectively with "low blood" does not at all mean he exploited anything. It means the game determined he still has enough blood to move and fight. There was no conscious exploiting going on here. This seems kinda' hypocritical. You are insinuating that you are fine with them fighting back, but you are also upset that they almost won in fighting you back. Do not expect people to just give up for no reason because they supposedly lost blood. On that note, I think you grossly overestimate how much blood vampires take when they drain people. A long time ago, Vampire feeding DID take a significant amount of blood, to the point of killing after 3-4 goes. After that, it was nerfed very hard and now it very rarely takes someone below 90 percent blood oxy, if it even goes below 95. It is likely Voight was nowhere near low on blood, and was perfectly fine after the sucking. This is partially why Vamps usually keep the bite ability on the forget option. You are twisting words here. I told you he was not powergaming and that there was no abuse of mechanics. Additionally, there is little RP to be done in the middle of a fight. I do not expect people to start typing mid brawl. Here are the logs for the ticket.
  23. Hi. Overall I find this to be an interesting concept, and will be accepting the application. Do note that this will probably be edited and trimmed down a little, or dispersed, whatever. Also this may take a while to be put on the wiki because of Stuff and Things™ already in the works.
