  12. To make it ricochet off the walls will require either make all bullets ricochet or make this specific type of gun do that - which could actually require to still change core of projectiles. At that point if we need to change core system to make one thing ricochet might as well make all of them ricochet, but that will be out of scope of suggestion.
  13. Uhm.. Ricochet mechanics is not built into game, and kinda tricky to make. It is possible thought, but your item require to make a big rework of ballistics to include Ricochet which is a kinda out of scope of the item you request.
  14. There is already a kind of rifle like that in the game. It even has futuristic look, so far mostly ERT and antags have access to it. It is called NI 550 Saber or in game name(machine pistol). It has sprite of carbine but with bullets. Now since it is not a rifle but a machine pistol - it cannot be wielded. Security used to have them instead of energy weapons and that turned out to be bad because bullets were bad. They were using rubber and lethal ammunition was available in armoury. We can bring back these machine pistols into security armoury. Or if you have a better sprite update the sprite.

  18. Interesting, I read all your thoughts under spolkers, and I like your way of thinking. Shells is an interesting topic, it is really interesting how it is controversial to the idea that they are designed to not make people be afraid of them vs they actually do. I personally like shells both IC and OOC, just because they let you have that Data(Star trek) or Alien moment. I have a shell character whose role is to be behave like a person, because real human died but his parents couldn't bear without him so they decided to buy expensive shell and asked robotist to program shell to behave like their son bases of their video recordings of him, just like episode 1 of second season of Black Mirror TV show. So the character thinks that he is human and basically when someone happens that shows that his is organic, his filter software kicks in that supposed to shield his main personallity to not realize truth. Overall I think Moondancer will be a good synthetic developer, they have amazing understand in of AI both real life and in game. +1
  19. Coders are not obligated to code for you. You need to learn to code yourself, this post sounded very entitled. Also, most of that was completely unrelated to Burger's application. On the contrary. Lore requests are still a request, when you apply to developer you sort of agree to help lore team improve lore through mechanics. I am pretty sure [mention]Skull132[/mention] will confirm that developer s are required to code lore requests if they have nothing else to do. Of course that doesn't that they have to drop PRs they are currently working on. But again it also is just teamwork, a coder who only codes his own stuff are refuses to code lore stuff is a contributor, not a developer.

  23. I agree with changes for everything except for changing changeling requires antags from 1 to 4. In my opinion if we make it require 10 people, I would make it 2 and 3 tops.
  24. This is interesting topic as you can technically get ability to not require clothing to do spells. However I would say should does not seem to be necessary.
