That's a flawed thought. A flash had potentially unlimited amount of stuns, every single security officer and heads of staff had it(and robotics). The parapen has 3 uses, is extremely obvious if used in public and you're sacrificing TC points for it which you could use for something else. To get it on station you rely on zombie-powder which relies on carps spawning, you being able to get them, grind them and extract the carp hurting juice. Parapen is not overused. Parapen has 3 uses. Parapen can ONLY be obtained through the traitor menu. There can't be an alternative if you've already removed all of the alternatives. This is just going to encourage people to stop using the parapen all-together and just stop doing these gimmick alltogether. Note, this'll make the sleepy-ring which has a single injection completely fucking useless.

Would you have any issue then if we "restarted" your trial period? Senpai Jackboot -
Again, it perhaps wasn't adressed in the first place because there was never a real issue with it in the first place. It seems like change for the sake of change. It could be justified with as you stated "muh powergaming rules" but I don't really see a reason for it since it hasn't been abused in any recent memory? The big offending issue of instant stun tools was mostly their overuse, flash, flashbangs both. Parapen on the other hand is rarely used and when it is, it is used for its intended effect. Silent takedown. In all my admintime I have not seen/don't remember anyone using a parapen to murder unconcious people due to how easily bwoinkable that is and because you can't really RP with someone who is blacked out. Again, I'd support my timing rework I posted up there if we're going to be adamant about adding it. Otherwise the parapen is just going to be ignored for the sake of using killy weapons instead of knocky-outy weapons.

Here is my proposition: No injection message. Instant: Stamina loss. 17 Second Mute. 3 second delay: 19 second confusion. 19 second dizziness. 7 second delay: 27 second sleep.
-
Maybe it went unnoticed for a good reason? I mean I get moving away from stuns but someone using a parapen in actual combat is quite rare? It's usually a stab-in-the-back weapon and its whole point is that the victim doesn't have the time to alert anyone of what happened.

Now color it green and gray so I can rip and tear.

That's why I specified personally talking to someone. Radio wise people should still show up with Uknown (Ann Tagonist)
-
I think we've all had that time when we're wearing a mask, hardsuit are sitting in space without an ID and someone asks us. "Who are you?" And we have no way to answer because talking would reveal us instantly. Now I'm not proposing your name changes depending on what ID you're wearing, or that speaking over the radio with a normal mask and with someones ID would broadcast their name or anything. Or that ID reading range should be changed or whatever. What I'd simply like is that when one doesn't have an ID and their face is covered and they're speaking to someone one on one. That their voice will simply state "Uknown" instead of "Unknown (Ann Tagonist)". Emoting already does that and using your voice in a mask shouldn't be so easily recognizable.

Due to surfaced evidence and the nature of the emergency. This warning will be nullified and removed. Reasoning is as thus: While the captain role is extremely important and the captain should actively try not to engage antags when unnecessary. This was one of those situations where it was necessary. It is important to keep in mind that the captain HAS a gun and HAS the abillity to get more guns. As was apparent from evidence security was either crippled or dead and the ERT was still on their way. The captain while taking perhaps a few unnecessary risks (per character discretion) was within his right to open fire at that moment. This thread will be locked and archived in 24 hours.

The way you phrased it I was worried that Tishina went insane enough to actually approve the dog and falcon. -
[Dismissed] On Custom Items: Resonable Pet Restrictions

I wasn't aware we have so many custom pets on station. -
Now this is the real chonker. You say it's an instant gratification button for people who die. People usually die when rounds are being escalated and the people that usually die tend to be security officers. It is very appropriate to call ERT in a round where security is majorly crippled/ completely disabled. Meaning that the situation in which ERT is appropriate to be called, is exactly the kind of situation you hope to avoid. This is a self-fulfilling prohecy, ERT is most appropriate to be called when people are dying by big numbers. Big number of people means big dangerous ERT full of people with revenge boners. Which means it becomes more and more of a snowball. Giving admins the abillity to call ERT whenever appropriate would not stop people from becoming ERT during the times when ERT is appropriate, which is usually during the times when security lost which results in the instant gratification. In essence ERT itself IS the win button. And it doesn't matter if an admin or a player can press it, due to the fact that when ERT is not appropriate to call, there are no ghosts anyways. tl;dr ERT is way too good at their job and overequipped, severely limiting their equipment would help much more than actually the way they're called.

Let's end this meme of forced reliance on engineers
Coalf replied to BurgerBB's topic in Completed Projects
The title is a bit misleading, it's more of a "rework reliance on engineers" rather than "end reliance on engineers". Now a good suggestion would be for the game to register how many engineers have readied up and if the game starts without an engineer, to spawn an already setup engine. -
The jumpsuit is clearly styled after the christian priest wear. The holiday priest is once again, christian. The backpack is clearly shaped after Warhammer 40k. Athame is a pagan religious knife. Candles and crayons aren't really religious items. Note we don't NEED more religious items, but it would be NICE to add more. The chaplain role is rarely played as-is and I don't see any harm in any variety additions if they're there just for pure flavor. It's not really something that is going to make or break the meta. Also for a buddhist, the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khakkhara work perfectly.

Alright, I'll speak to the Whitelist Team to see if this is a whitelist or a general issue (if it is an issue in the first place). Then I'll gather some evidence and verdict should come at the end of this week. If any of you think of something, tell me.
-
We will investigate the issue, providing any addittional proof would be very helpful.

And there is the crux(ifix hehehehehehe) of the problem.
