Thank you for cleaing that up, to clear myself up the "Taking turn for the worse" doesn't mean after you created Fernando were warned yada yada whitelists. It was meant as from the day you stopped playing any other of your characters regurarly and started almost solely playing Fernando, I believe as I've not seen you play anyone else and I don't recall anyone stopping their complains about not seeing your HoP anymore.

Look I'll be frank, you're passionate, empathetic and have the ranked up hours. This also translates to being emotional, hot-headed and often jumping the gun on certain decisions. Maybe a year ago I would have accepted you into the team, zero issues, but your most recent behaviour has been going for the worse. You've had multiple warnings ever since you started playing your character over very similar offences and multiple times this has been brought to attention of the whitelist team and the CCIA. Everyone is entitled to playing the character they want but within the bounds of believability, this is starting to edge on not believable. But this is just a character and plenty of staff-members have had contentious characters and a few of them were even jobbanned or whitelist stripped. Usually they reworked their character after though. That aside; Your push on medical doctors and general "elitism" that has been going around medical has transffered into LOOC with a few people claiming (not I'm saying claiming because there is no evidence to support this) that they don't play whenever you're in medical, simply because they don't want to get barked at in LOOC. Again, no evidence so take this with two handful of salt and the black sea along with it, but to every lie there is a hint of truth. Yet again, we could step that aside and I was willing to until I found the biggest problem, your own application. The additional comments part is VERY badly worded, it was most likely an accident but by god is it an ultimatum. I'll try to run this down. In essence this is giving us two options. Either we pass your application, nothing happens and everyone lives happily ever after because you're American Education Board qualified. Or we don't pass your trial and we're claiming that we're better judges of a person than the American Education Board. Again this might be a complete accident and you wanted to relate your IRL work to this hobby, but the way you worded is just makes it seem like we have no option but to accept you because otherwise we're saying you're bad at "what is pretty much what you were professionally trained for". IT'S A HOBBY For all the drama I cause, other people cause, I take part in, other people take part in, this is a hobby. We don't bear some mighty cross, there is plenty of perks that come with being a staff-member aswell as plenty of responsibilities but nobody here does it out of guilt, we do it because we like the game, the server and the playerbase. By golly if someone pressured you into this, if you pressured yourself into this because you think you're lazy and not doing enough for this server just do not. We do this because we enjoy it, sure I talk shit about hating it but if I really hated it I'd just leave outright, there is a lot of small thank you's that make it worth while. You should relate to that yourself as you have previously stated from your experience as a teacher, I doubt you do that out of "feeling like a lazy fuck mooching off". Then I get two random guys dressed as gopniks running around speaking shitty russian with the latin alphabet, alright I say to myself they're not harming anyone I'll just tell them to stop the obvious meta-communication right? You had a note before where there was nothing about bad english, so it was safe to assume you talked yourself out of it, greytiding one too about murdering a guy hugging your character, anyways I continue looking and see completely normal, properly capitalized and punctuated sentences in LOOC when security grabbed you. Alright sure you explained it as "catching things from youtubers". Yet at that point I wasn't willing to believe you due to a simple thing, you were already lying to me. This is why I simply permabanned you, the server detected both your adresses as about 98% likely to be Proxy's, sure those trigger when people are on dorms but still. So I ask you not to metacommunicate, friendly chat I wasn't even threatening you with anything and you begin to lie about the metacomms, about fucking around etc etc. This is why I wasn't willing to take a risk, the server was picking you up as a proxy, you were lying to staff and clearly metacomming. We've always had a spot of 2 very nasty griefers which I've banned multiple times already and I wasn't to take the risk with you two, doubly so when you started lying at which point I can't be sure if I can trust you with anything. So I want you to promise me that you won't be lying, right now I know you don't have an issue lying about something so extremely obvious right to my face and I can't be sure if you're not lying about your bad english either right now. So really all I ask for is if you can act honestly, restrain your greytiding and prevent metacommunications in the future.

Are you using a Proxy server, VM or are on a shared connection like college dorms tend to have? The system bans those IP adresses so you'll get a smack for someone else who used the same addres to log in.

Sleepy is already in the team, works good, draws art and doesn't afraid of anything. However you also seem to have a similar issue as JB and that is attention. I've noticed that while you can stick to something a lot better than him, you also bounce around a lot and tend to kinda toss ideas and move onto others very quickly. Not saying this is bad but for a static species like the Skrell, this might get the players a bit nervous. Anyways let's get down to business. What do you think the skrell currently need to re-vitalize their interest? The crisis isn't as bad as memers would lead you to believe as I see about 2-3 skrell every few rounds instead of 0, but what do you think is the true CREAM to bring back old players and interest new ones? My main issue with skrell was always that they're encouraged to be "emotionless" and "expressionless", which is a questionable decision for a game that uses text to RP. What's your opinion on this? Plan on changing anything? Big fat think dropping right here, what do you think about whitelist applications? How do you think Skrell whitelist applications should be conducted? Note: I did apologise in the Parapen thread as I have misunderstood a previous posts from Burger. That was on my part. Re-reading it, it mostly seems like a pointless change now. However I still believe there is a lot of agenda pushing behind every 4th to 6th PR made. Mainly the PR's that were so stupid in essence they were shut down immediatly and no drama was stirred around them. Namely: Make AI's a % spawn, after playing borg extensively and constantly complaining that AI's don't know what they're doing. Removing Wizard apprentice contracts after meeting a peacewizard who made apprentices in a round. Multiple attempts to whitelist antags after each "bad round" even though everyone else might have enjoyed it. Observing a ninja roundstart, assuming everyone in the round is bored and making thread after thread to remove/turn it into whitelisted antag. BUT as stated by Skull on the previously made Ban Request thread It doesn't matter WHY you code, just that you code. So really these gripes are pointless to hold.

Okay I'll rule this out simply. From the story I collected neither the Blob or the Raiders were present on station when the whole situation with shutting the shutters happened. Both the HoS character AND the CMO characters over-reacted like absolute idiots, yet I believe JB's character backed out of their resolution into a warning while I don't believe the CMO ever decided to open the shutters. The situation was resolved WITH an agreement on a WARNING, we're done with that. The IR is an in-character IR and by that standard it doesn't violate any of the whitelist specifications we put out. It doesn't ruin a round, it doesn't prevent communication and if anything it served the round better to start shit AFTER the emergency then BEFORE the emergency. Both characters over-reacted, if I took actions against one I would have to take action against the other. Thus both players can regard this as a verbal warning that their COMMAND jobs PRECEDE the CUNTINESS of their characters. Character integrity is important, but if your character is such a cunt that he cannot keep his cuntiness contained even during such simple issues, he would not have gotten the job in the first place and thus is an UNBELIVABLE command character. To continue, ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, the presumption of innocence. There is no concrete evidence to suggest foul-play besides timing and history of both players. I took both into regard, looked at what both sides presented and found the defendant not guilty. There is nothing that confirms malicious intent, Jackboot presented his timestamped post and Mofo the fact that JB was open to have a dialogue about the IR before being posted. Processing the IR is on the CCIA's but I won't take his whitelist because of the IR. If anything I'd say making an IR after a round is better than causing drama in-round. There is a lot of word-souping that amounts to absolutely nothing, Jackboot has answered everyones questions, no other IR has arised during his time as a head and he has gained positive reviews from many involved players. To put it simply, I'll accept this application and U R G E people to contact me, Alberyk or Matt if they THINK they saw foul play and neither of them is present on server. Further we'll keep an eye on BOTH offenders. Application accepted, case closed, go home people.

I'm sorry but this application will be denied due to lack of feedback. While whitelists for species don't require peer feedback the extremely cooperative and tearmwork-prone Head whitelist does to prove that your characters and you as a player get along with others. We urge you to apply in a near future and try for more feedback once you're more known on the server.

Alright I'm torn on this. On one hand you've answered all questions properly and regarding lore I have zero issues with that, issue is behaviour. Yes yes I know others have approached it but I think they have approached it from a wrong angle, they approached it from a communicative angle. Sure you can be a proper cunt but you can also raise fair points quite often and have actual good objective insight, when you try which you often don't but that's besides the point. The issue is approachability, while JB approached this issue as "talking to other loredevs" my concern is for new players. As a lore developer a person doesn't have to be a perfect example of humanity, but you come off as intimidating, very intimidating and that is something that can seriously make someone turn away from making a whitelist or even considering a species. Maybe it's the whole banter culture we facilliate, I should probably re-invent myself too but that's besides the point. But yes this is the only issue I have with this application. The answers were top-notch, you seem to know what in general the skrell need, you've answered my Whitelist question pretty much perfectly and I've got no other issues besides approachability. It's not a ringing endorsement but I would be a blind fucking idiot to say that you haven't answered questions well.
