  1. Only if activating/deploying the RIG with a jacket on destroys the jacket.
  2. Sneakers are about as mundane as shoes get, so this is a fine idea.
  3. Replace the ones in the armoury and fire closets with the new sprite masks. Boom, more common to see them but the same amount of gas masks, and you still have the old ones sitting in maintenance.
  4. Catching the drink better prevent spilling. I want to keep tossing beers and cokes to my mates.
  5. Could make it so you have the option to uncuff MUCH faster (let's say 30 seconds over 2 minutes, via having harm intent enabled) but in the process you break an arm/bend a shoulder proper out of place. Easy getaway potential but too crippled to be a major threat.
  6. Salt for an improvised beanbag/stun shell would be fun, Causing minor damage, of course.
  7. Let me retain the ability to be washed out tbh. I adored the aesthetic, wouldn't mind there being an option between multiple types of shading based on personal preference.
  8. They looked/look absolutely fantastic to me. Give me the option and I'd use these every round just to be rid of the jaundice plaguing pale characters.
  9. Losing a sec slot just to gain a dedicated middle finger towards medical? Can't say I like the idea.
  10. Encouraging people to cook their grenades and not chuck them directly at the guy's head, whilst making bats a far more viable weapon? Sure.
  11. Counter-suggestion; Only add it for high-security doors, like the armoury/vault/etc.
  12. Have it fit in a wallet and I support this.
  13. Alternatively, 'chameleon glasses'. Not even joking, something stupid-sounding like that would make a fine excuse as a way to keep the current sprites available.
  14. The downside of this system is you lose a lot of unique and beautiful sprites for some of the rarer/fancier drinks. It leads to a lot of beverages looking very samey unless someone went through and resprited every single alcoholic beverage for each individual glass type.
  15. This would hurt stealth quite a bit. Ambivalent on the idea, just for that reason alone.
  16. I miss the masks. Would love to see them returned, at least for jobs that need masks (Sec/Eng/etc.) for their work.
  17. TBH I just always personally forget it exists. It's a more of a personal dislike (I don't use the awful 'safety via intent' mechanic either), I'm not against the idea at all if it's as simple as stated.
  18. As it goes on this suggestion merely seems like a thinly veiled excuse to increase the size of Research at the expense of the Library. I can only imagine there would be a similar thread regarding the Chapel were it in the Library's place. If you seek a break room, consider visiting the library or any other public break area, the minimal department size is to encourage people to interact with these civilian areas/roles instead of cooping up in their department and never leaving.
  19. I don't like the idea but at the same time I don't see the harm it could cause. As long as it's not obnoxious to disable and there isn't some meme mechanic where you shoot yourself when trying to store a weapon with the safety off.
  20. Xenoarch is fairly old, janky code that came long before IPCs even existed. I'd certainly support a minor clean-up of this old system to both give it a little more attention, and reduce the immediate accessibility of a high-end healing item.
  21. As noted, deathgasp has a niche purpose that would be lost in it's absence. There's no harm in having it in emote form over someone having to copy+paste the text every time they want to play dead.
  22. I'd make it potentially 25-30 at the least. So getting shot/run through with a sword would do it, something that properly hurts and isn't exactly common. I just don't want the system I experienced elsewhere where effectively anything and everything would interrupt your typing.
  23. Ahelp it and get 'ic issue' as a response? Having to further clamp down on potentially bad antag play just for a shit mechanic to cover potentially bad non-antag play doesn't sound particularly appealing. Having played with this mechanic, it (in other incarnations) often procs on any brute damage, making it far more annoying than you might expect in regards to breaches and the like. As well as, most notably, when you want to say something to the person attacking you.
  24. As it goes, not paying the ransom is asking for a heavy lawsuit and particularly negative press seeing as the incident occurs on-site, under the supervision of Internal Security. I get that this is more or less trying to discourage antags from kidnapping Technician Bumblefuck and asking for all 75 grand. But I can only see it just encouraging more 'no negotiations' (or even better, not giving a shit at all) tactics from Command/Security, which is already a fairly annoying problem without encouragement to do so.
  25. Depends entirely on the context of the situation.
