  1. It's hardly powergaming, nor does it matter since flashes have been nerfed into the trash anyways. As mentioned before, all the sunglasses with legitimate flash protection in the loadout are locked to Security and Command, your concern there is unwarranted. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Security having innate access to combined HUDglasses, especially seeing as the majority of flashes are in their possession. But if they were to be split, then I'd assume you'd want the removal of prescription mesons/prescription medical huds as well going by the logic presented here.
  2. I'll miss the iconic designs, but these pseudo-spider designs certainly have a charm to them. If they were added I'd love to see both the purple and green variants added for a bit more choice.
  3. I'd find it strange for any design of the sort to be so heavily overweight, poor design in that regard, but I'm not against the idea of 'free magboots' for them since they're so damnably slow anyways.
  4. It's not exactly a difficult thing for someone to just delete a slot or use another in that respect. I regularly deleted my one-offs when I did randoms to try out roles.
  5. I prefer the emphasis on high-visibility offered by the current colour scheme, the proposed colour scheme strikes me as something you'd have issues seeing in a maintenance tunnel or on an asteroid.
  6. Should the idea be revisited in the future, if you replace/remove it then I will make a strong point of seeing it re-added myself. I don't care for anything that removes customization options wholesale.
  7. I quite like it, as it gives an alternative option that offers a professional feeling. I'd prefer to not see it removed in the end (and would certainly go to lengths to have it added back if it were).
  8. Not exactly the order I'd put these answers in.
  9. I disagree, but I hope by department jacket that you mean it's an alternative for this jacket (attached image 53) and not a replacement for this jacket (attached image 54)
  10. Looks interesting and very distinct, I'd hope by them being labeled as 'alt' it may imply we'd get a choice between going full-blood red and the current beige. As the blood red can look a little more aggressive, which isn't a good or bad thing. I wouldn't want to see visible ghosts being replaced by the daemite, as often seeing the brutally mauled ghost-corpse of a crewmate you saw alive just 20 minutes ago is far more impactful, but the daemite would make a lovely replacement for the shade sprite.
  11. I've changed my mind, I don't support this in the slightest bit.
  12. I prefer the aviators over the default HUDglasses sprite v a s t l y, but that doesn't mean I want the defaults removed. There is 0 reason to remove either other than some strange personal dislike of either sprite.
  13. The white shoes don't quite work well with it, but oh well anyone with a fashion sense will spawn with dress shoes when using it.
  14. Neat idea but I'm not sure how you could have it apply to the sprites (of the torn clothing) easily. As other have pointed out, having alcohol applied to it removing infection chance would be nice, as well as having infection chance entirely negated if ointment (or the herbal/advanced variants of ointment) are applied to the wound as well (this being to any potential additional infection chance from using the rag, since ointment and variants already prevent infection when applied to normal wounds).
  15. I quite like these, especially the necro and idris ones. Don't really have any critique other than maybe the purple on the zheng will be hard to aesthetically match to most other articles of clothing, and could do with a matching pair of shoes (assuming people don't just wear dress shoes w/ it since those go with everything).
  16. If I'm hungry at work I don't suddenly become a slothful shit who can't run to save his own life.
  17. Sorry I gave my boost to a City of Heroes discord.
  18. I don't know what games you play but a majority of the ones I've played have had multiple sound toggles/sliders for things such as voice, sfx, music and so forth. Generally the more of these said games have, the better the game is as well.
  19. Having 'smart' monkeys that fight back would be hilarious, having seen it in other codebases, yet would be absolutely garbage for xenobiologists in particular unless they suddenly got an infinite supply of sleep toxin. If an animal ended up permanently aggro'd on someone you'd generally see Security needing to kill said animal, defeating the purpose of preventing 'animal cruelty' in the first place.
  20. Certain cold things already do this, such as ice. As for hot things, I don't want to be reminded of the era where eating a plate of enchiladas would husk you with literal hundreds of burn damage within minutes due to how heat works mechanically.
  21. If you just make return to lobby the default and opt not to remove the option altogether, fantastic idea. The 'random job' is still useful for those very few mad lads who play fully randomized characters or simply like to play one-offs and let fate decide where the round puts them.
  22. Neat idea, but I'd also like the ability to sell them via cargo shuttle for a flat rate to NT (likely a price irrespective of age/effects/quality, with differing prices purely based on size so a random fist-sized fossil doesn't fetch the same as machine-sized artifact). Particularly since it doesn't make sense to me that the scientists would be managing an auction over the company itself doing so. Also in part because it adds a little more encouragement for Xenoarch/Anomalists to interact with the non-mining portion of Cargo. Though either way, very interesting idea.
  23. Let people just choose their unit of measurement and have the game automatically translate it to both. Personally I'd also prefer just entering height/weight in character set-up over having to type it in every time someone measures or what not.
  24. I really don't want to die from RNG just because the game's retarded hunger mechanics insist that you must eat three to four cheeseburgers every 2 hours. It's also not particularly difficult to eat food in real life as fast as you can in-game, I've finished entire meals in under a minute (often under 30 seconds) because I don't care for wasting time when eating. So, as mentioned in the above reply, if this happens either heavily nerf or remove hunger.
  25. This just sounds like it'd encourage people to return to the classic decapitate/incinerate days, if one removes the ability to contain them. The ideal answer otherwise is either lock them in a room where they can't see anyone or physically escape which is good fun, keep them permanently drugged which is equally fun, remove all their non-head limbs and continue to do so if they somehow manage to regenerate them, or all of the above.
