  1. Your contribution is appreciated and the ideas and the concepts you have given here will probably be used, but as of now I can not promise that this will be implemented in any shape or form, nor will it be reworked to fit our server. I'm sorry. Denied. Locking and archiving.
  2. Do not post if you are not involved. This application is being denied for being cringe. You are free to re-apply in the next cycle of eternity.
  3. I'm not sure how you can be trusted with the moderator position if you can't even be properly trusted with a command whitelist., and I'm still shaky as to why you were given so many chances so as to be accepted for it again.
  4. Sorry that this took so long. I must say that you put it very well in the first sentence. We don't really need more planets/colonies right now, especially with me revitalizing some of the neglected stuff in the Sol Alliance. And remaking this into something else is also not something I , or other people on the team would do. Denied. Locking and archiving.
  5. You did not address my feedback. I will unfortunately have to deny this whitelist application until changes are made according to the feedback given.
  6. I like that, yeah. Fashun and all. Skirts don't have to be necessarily restraining, and, as you say, they should be reasonable length. I totally support this even if my current officer characters probably wouldn't wear it. I know some people who have characters who would. I support this.
  7. Thanks @Alberyk. I love you and I hope you'll stay around for a while longer. And thank you for all the gnomes. You are very important to this server and I wish you a good year as well.
  8. Cute and will also help me crack the nut that is Emily. I've been trying to get her to know for a while on a few of my characters but never got very close. I hope that these items will help me get to know her better and I'm sure it'll result in c00l RP for other people too.
  9. Thanks for the concern. If I feel like me doing moderator work will burn me out or make me turn away from the community for any other reason, I will simply step down. Or take a short break and reconsider things. It is hard to give a definitive answer as I would just judge by the situation at hand, really. In any case I'm not a fan of self-destructive behaviour and will surely do something in case something like burn-out happens. I suppose I already went through one recently, and holidays are helping me get over it. Thank you for the support, you and everyone else who already posted
  10. Ah, okay. Makes sense. I definitely like it that way then.
  11. I like this. Question though. Since now they are modular, wouldn't it be possible for someone to deconstruct them while someone is holding them? Unless I'm dumb and this isn't actually possible when the object is held by a person, and is only possible when on the ground.
  12. Basic Information Byond Account: BoryaTheSlayer Character Name(s): Well... AI Name(s): None for now. Discord username: BoryaTheSlayer#2462. Age: 17(18 in April) Timezone:+3 GMT, Moscow time. When are you on Aurora?: Whenever I'm home, basically. Mostly from 3 PM my time until 11 PM, on and off, depending on how interested I'm in the round. I can be seen throughout all the day depending on the circumstances, though, really. Experience I'm currently a moderator for one of the server's affiliated discords, NT-SEC. Otherwise I never held similar positions before. How long have you played SS13?: Since may of this year. How long have you played on Aurora: Since may of this year. How much do you know about SS13 (Baystation build) game mechanics?: I know them relatively well although I don't put most of the "robust" mechanics to use because I don't play antag rounds too often. I know medical extremely well, I know most sections of science, basics of engineering, and know how cargo and civ jobs work. I don't really look at code, though, but that may change soon. Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?: No. Have you read through the criteria thread; https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=4198 - and believe that you mark off all the criteria?: Yes, I believe so. Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: No. Personality Why do you play SS13?: For RP. I came here after hearing that people RP in this game, when I was very disenchanted by the RP community of the game I played before. Why do you play on Aurora?: It's the only server that people actually RP on, and is actually populated. I came to aurora immediately when I started playing and had never any reason to branch out to other servers. What do moderators do?: Moderators respond to ahelps, deal with complaints and appeals on the forums. They uphold server rules, preserve the community and keep those damn griefers out of our sanctuary. They help the new players, guide them, and facilitate their integration in the community. What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: It means to deal with player-related behaviour. IC issues should be left IC, what moderators deal with are OOC issues. If Gornanez Fezando the CMO throws a doctor out of their department for commiting malpractice and the said doctor ahelps that Gornanez is being a stinky that's most likely an IC issue. Other than that, it means to deal with issues as a team, as well as help people out if they are new and don't know something(since we don't have mentors). Why do you want to be a moderator?: I wanna help everyone on the server and make it a better place. What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: I am willing to help, calm and understanding, and always try to get any bias out of the way and deal with the situation objectively. I also like to think I work well in a team, considering my experience in the lore team so far. How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?: I think I handle it extremely well. I understand that most anger and insults directed at me come from misunderstandings or difference of opinions, and I don't take my frustration out on people. If I have qualms with something, Anything Else You Want to Add: Nah. Thanks for reading.
  13. -1 where are my chicken nuggets YO UFUCJOFGGWPOJgQEWP[pgWG{GW g
  14. You've shown that you care and that you have capability to improve. All past misgivings aside, I would be very much looking forward to see how you will perform in your trial.
  15. Oh wtf I didn't leave feedback here. Hi. I know you as a good RP-er and even though your knowledge of game mechanics might be lacking, you're willing to learn. And in the end, you're going to play liaison anyways, so it doesn't matter too much. Looking forward to a trial, GL.
  16. It really IS rambling since there was no structure. It was hard to read. ? Although I am not the one to judge an application essay considering mine was shit too. Anyways, to the main point. I can trust you to be a good team member in the team, and hope to see you actively participate in our discussions. I don't really have much to say about you other than that you're nice and good, so, I'll ask you some questions. Do you have any plans for an arc, a plotline of sorts? I really think that there are a lot of unfinished plotlines in the past lore development for synthetics that could use some work on it, since it's very easy to forget all the stuff we write in the articles. I like that you want to expand on owned synthetics more. What about criminal synthetics? Do you have any ideas for this angle? Thank you for your application and good luck!
  17. ok
  18. despite geeves' horrifying screams that will probably haunt me in the dreams as i imagine the horrors of the dev chat, i kinda wanna try this out along spriting
  19. i'll join you on the weekends i swear
  20. Some people don't want to be meta'd. Knowing who plays the character often changes perception for other people.
  21. The only concern I have, which Nienna pointed out, is that it basically gives you THE method to find out who plays which character. I do like the idea overall, just hope that anonymity can be preserved. I'm not sure if making these people who want to be anonymous to choose medium priority is very bueno, but that's one way of doing it.
  22. Me likey. I honestly think we need more shit in our jukebox. I always found myself wanting to share music with others when I played my bartender. Unfortunately the stuff that jukebox currently has is... eh... and getting a piano isn't always viable and people always try to steal it from me.
  23. I like the idea and the concept so far and I'm mostly just posting to bring attention to this. I have yet to read through it.
