Why do you wish to play this specific race: I didn't expect to be doing this app so early, but here I am, also writing it the second time. Anyways, Vaurca are really alien and have many interesting themes that I'd like to explore, as well as having some good-written lore. The challenge for me rises from the eusocial-ness of vaurcae, as I often make individualistic characters and focus on the individual, but I'm up to the challenge. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Vaurcae have a phoron-based biochemistry, something that differs them greatly on a biological level from humans(aside from their insectoid appearance lol). Because of that, they mostly eat k'ois. Vaurcese society is eusocial, and are essentially biologically inclined to serve their hive/brood. Their caste-based society, the relations between the hives, the ability to play what amounts to a drone(the bounds), and the dynamic between the bounds and the unbounds. All these things are very different from humans and all contribute to the alienness of Vaurcae. Character Name: Za'Akaix'Caduz Zo'ra Please provide a short backstory for this character: What do you like about this character? I really like how I play around the fact of Caduz's birth around the time of the first contact and her belonging to Athvur's brood. It creates a really unique perspective-- a bug that had initially no idea how humans really are that is forced to study them and work with them based on initial, often-times misplaced impressions. It's not a "I'm basically a human lol" bug, but one that thinks they fit in--but actually don't. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I'm an epic gamer so i'd say 7/10 Notes: Yee-haw.

I rarely find Skrell applications interesting to read(including my own), but the recent ones have been very easy to read. I like this application and you seem to understand the Skrell lore well, at least on the topics that you have covered. That being said: Instead of crèche, the word you're looking for is Quya. Also: Do you use treacherous here for any specific reason? People tend to not write the entire character backstory here so as to not make the application too long to read, so I'm just curious if you have more to tell about her youth or not.

What can you say about the various religions of the Unathi? I think religion is one of the biggest aspects of Unathi lore and I really enjoy them all. What can you say about Arksazi as a person? How does he view other religions? What does he care about besides practicing Sk'akh? Also Please don't do that. I know we all don't like this question being asked over and over but it's best to show good faith when responding to all the questions here.

I'm looking forward to seeing you in trial, but I'm not as positive as Schwann regarding your responses. None of these are egregious issues, I just want you to consider some things. Don't forget that you can now order blood bags from cargo. This is indeed a good plan, but instead of handling GTR yourself as a CMO you can have your nurse and maybe the paramedic(don't forget you have a rescue android that, with upgrades, can be very good for rescue), if things are THAT bad, to do the GTR, and the surgeon should be ready for patients. While they all fulfill their jobs, you should get going to cargo and expedite that order as much as you can. The gist of what I'm trying to say is, don't forget you can buy supplies from cargo. This is good but sometimes you won't have time for a proper meeting and a complete interview of the entire team as well as the other parties involved in the accident. It is not to say that you shouldn't hold a meeting; it's more that you should treat it more as the time for you to bring the issue and briefly discuss it before getting back to business. You should also take into consideration the severity of the case of excessive force. All in all, good luck. Don't forget that we're here to RP, and that, while you are being put in the spotlight and are expected to uphold a standard, you are still here to have fun. I feel that some of the recent command whitelist applicants have forgotten this.

Pan, I know you've been thinking of applying for this for a while now, before the slots were opened, and I'm very happy to finally see your application. I can always rely on you to provide me with cool, fresh ideas whenever I come to you for an opinion on anything writing-related, and I really want to see you on the team. And it's not just my personal experience that tells me that, your application does a good job of showing it too. Now that I'm done with praise, though, some questions. Do you plan on hosting any events in the future? Bygone did overfeed us with vaurca events, but that doesn't mean we can't have more in the future. You know I love you Wiggle, but this is pretty minimal. At least to me. It's your choice to take that criticism in or not, but, I have questions regardless. What are Yevgeniy's(also fix his name in the 'character name' line) views on religion? Raskariim, specifically? W-what is he? M'sai? Hharar? All in all, this isn't a bad app, it just lacks a lot of detail and it genuinely tells me nothing about Yevgeniy nor anything much about Adhomai.

Big agree and I genuinely thought this was a rule already for some reason. And despite geeves' arguments, I can see an exception being allowed under some circumstances and within certain context.

Now, before y'all forget about this thread forever like a nightmare, how about we actually add AT LEAST small blurbs about the alt-titles on the wiki page for Station Engineer, specifying required qualifications and education? I think that'd be a far better implementation than adding an outright new title and also removing something already existing.

This is extremely barebones and if you won't fix it it's likely to be denied by the Dionae lore team. The formatting is... strange in some places, and the backstory is not even two paragraphs long.
