TZQUL CHALLENGE DELAYED! 14/12/2462 Editors Note: Translated to Basic QERRBALAK - Grand Councillor Weishbi Jurgl has announced the delay of the Tzqul Challenge - a frighting confirmation of theories emerging after the Grand Councillor was supposedly tied up in meetings with the greatest minds across the Nralakk Federation for over a week - seemingly gathering additional information before their eventual decision earlier today. “I am saddened to announce the decision to delay the Tzqul Challenge; an event that has become a welcomed tradition for all Skrell, however, unforeseen circumstances that occurred a mere twelve months ago has left it vulnerable, and has prompted this decision so that the Nralakk Federation Security Forces can continue investigating the situation surrounding the Tzqul Archives.” A melancholic reminder of the events that unfolded nearly a year ago - still close to the hearts of all Skrell, who mourn for the possible loss of the Tzqul Archives; where weeks prior to the announcement today, Skrell across the Federation have travelled to join the memorial hosted in Ploat’nil. Despite early intervention by the Nralakk Federation Security Forces, it is still unknown whether the Tzqul Archives can be recovered. The Grand Councillor has announced that the Grand Council will assemble to confirm the date of rescheduling. The date is expected to be established in the coming days, leaving all on the edge of their seats. We will continue wait in anticipation, and update those that are tuned into this developing story.

Caelphon's Skrell Maintainer Application
Caelphon replied to Caelphon's topic in Developer Applications Archives
Oh sorry! I didn't even see this. Currently, the re-rework is in internal review (Lore Writers) and I believe that Pan and Jade have done excellent work on it. I've made some suggestions and edits myself, but overall the re-rework looks lovely. If I'm selected I don't plan on changing too much, considering the work already done. -
I belive it would be a good re-addition. If its abused, it can easily be taken away +1

Hi there!!! First off, thanks for applying (please remember to bold the correct segments next time!) Now, questions: I see your Dionae initially bonded with Unathi and Humans (non-Dominians). How do they view the non-Dominians? How would your Dionae react to Dominians? Especially ones that new of your origin? Goodluck! There are no wrong answers. -

Wassup! As I asked Monomyth, I'd like to ask about your opinion on the Skrell/Dionae relationship. Do you plan to change the relationship between Skrell and Dionae? If so, how? Do you believe that there are any plothooks that advances both Skrell and Dionae? If not, would you expand on one? Goodluck for your application! -
This is officially my favorite Laowart piece!!!

Dude's on a speedrun. Anyhow, I have roleplayed quite extensively with Myphicboweser's characters (through most of my unknown characters). I'd like to see how they in a Command trial. -

WARP ACHIEVED; SPEED ACROSS REGION INCREASES EPSILON URSAE MINORIS - Probing Discoveries of Unknown Investigations has sent a communique via the Communications Relay housed within the Lxzti Station confirming the development of the ‘Czjkan Drive’ - a crude warp drive capable of breaching FTL speeds. Whilst inferior to the bulk of those created by humanity; relations amongst the galactic community haven’t been cordial enough to allow for the transfer of schematics involving more advanced warp drives. Whilst the ‘Czjkan Drive’ is said to require immense amounts of energy, it is said to double, if not triple, the speed in which the Epsilon Expeditionary Forces can reach the outermost reaches of the developing nation’s sphere of influence and is expected to be capable of reaching Qerrbalak in merely sixteen months - exponentially better than the previous thirty-six months the trip would take. Capable of achieving 0.032 light-years per day, it is considered one of the more faster engines produced by the species. The construction of a new generation of vessels, known to the greater scientific community as ‘Thok-Class’, will begin test runs on Gnisep 18 Jzki-Wxi, which when transferred to Tau Ceti Standard, is November 14th. The invention of the ‘Czjkan Drive’ is said to bring a time of prosperity, paving new pathways as well as increasing the region’s ability to protect their borders from vile plunderers. Military Overseer, Growing Hunger of Insatiable Greed, has stated that all efforts will go forward to improving the ‘Czjkan Drive’, as well as the weaponry aboard the new Thok-Class Vessels. Cheers to you reader, and good luck to our siblings in the Epsilon Ursae Minoris System - forging pathways through sheer might!

Welcome to the Land of the Trees! Thanks so much for applying, I enjoyed reading your application. 1) Can you tell me a bit about how your Dionae feels about the Biesellian Cluster? Do they gel well with the Eternal followers? 2) Does your Dionae have a degree to do with medicine? If so, how has this affected them in the present? 3) How does the Unathi life the gestalt live affect it on Biesel? Thanks! -
Caelphon's Skrell Maintainer Application

Of course: I worked on the front page: https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Dionae I added the visual to the page, and editted it to be less blocky. I added the lore additionsin regards to Dionae organs, and worked alongside @Chada1 to implement the Dionae becomming immobile as they grow older. I added the self-preservation paragraph, and worked on reproduction as one of my first additions. I created psychology, with help from @Zundy in regards to how they can be affected. The other is the Dionae Clusters page: https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Dionae_Clusters I worked alongside Zundy to create the the history, as well as the split ideologies. I wrote the entirety of the Dominian Cluster, as well as the subcatergories in which the Dionae are divided into across the Empire. I expanded on both the Wild Ones, and then was assisted by Zundy in regards to the Narrows. I wrote the Dionae History page: https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Dionae_History @Yonnimer assisted me in regards to the foundations of the species history. I wrote the Dionae Relations page: https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Dionae_Relations Now, onto the second part. I not only disappointed the playerbase, but myself as well. The lack of adequiet planning lead to the arc to fall somewhat lacklustre, despite the initial success its saw. I will not only increase the planning into the arc, but request assistance from my fellow lore colleagues (which I shouldve done in the first place). I will be 'checking' in with both Loremasters to ensure that it is up to the standards of Aurora, as well as interesting for each and every character to take part in. I never wish to cancel another arc again, and will strive in all that I do to ensure that it meets the requirements (as well as be more well-planned). I hope this is a satisfactory answer @Aboshedab Edit: I have this for an example of my planetary lore. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZJQEnBzNplM4VnJbHiTtX_cw-Vwfd1QlBK-qb-nS9Xk/edit?usp=sharing -
Caelphon's Skrell Maintainer Application

Oh! the above will also likely include the removal/alteration of Glorsh's ability to manipulate psionics to such a powerful degree. Yes, it should be capable of interacting with Skrell through the Nlom, but I do not believe it should be capable of simply altering reality to its whim. Essentially, making Glorsh less human and more machine. -
Caelphon's Skrell Maintainer Application

Whilst I enjoyed some segments of the Skrell History reworked, there are some that I utterly despise. The modification of Glorsh; It's ... sad. It went from an intelligence with goals unable to be deciphered by the Skrell, to one that apologized for interuptting a Skrell's day. I do wish to alter, as well as contract, the Glorsh segments of the page so that it reflects the communities loudest calls, for Glorsh to return. I believe reverting Glorsh's ideology (whilst maintaining some details) would be the best course of action, and make the intelligence less 'synth-sympathetic' and more a reason for why synths should be feared for their capabilities. Yes, synths might be evil but they can also be good. I whole heartedly agree with @DanseMacabre viewpoint: I also have plans to make the History Rework into more digestable segments, as I have attempted to do so here: https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=User:Caelphon/Sandbox/4. I think that the vast majority of the feedback can be utilized into making a new (but old) and more interesting History for the species. I hope this answers your question @MattAtlas -

Thanks for replying Itzal! So, the Dionae Deputy will likely fall away if I am chosen as the Skrell Maintainer (as per the Lore Team Rules & Regulations). I believe I am capable of maintaining both my role in the CCIA and be a Lore Developers(be it Dionae Deputy or Skrell Maintainer) as I have done since roughly March of this year. I will soon be going on holiday (after a series of exams) so I'll have endless time to work on lore. @Shadow -

JOYOUS ROAR; BILL #41-2C PASSES! The Hum cries out in joy to announce the passing of Bill #41-2C. The last few updates have made reality increasingly saddening, however, today we wish to bring only good news forth. Whilst some changes to the Bill occurred by a unanimous vote of the Congress, the Bill has laid a foundation for those both aboard and within Tau Ceti. Dionae grown within sphere of Tau Ceti’s influence will be required to be chipped at birth, however, this will allow for a much quicker, and easier, application of citizenship for those that wish to apply. The Sentience Exam will still be required, but can easily be passed by those that are in fact sentient. The second part of the Bill refers to the ability of granting asylum to Dionae who are in turbulent circumstances. Whilst there are many legal obstacles, it has become exponentially easier to grant asylum as long as the Dionae are willing to serve within the TCFL for approximately a year; the position of which isn’t important. The amplified cries of all our allies that don the green armband has been heard! We thank all those who directly, and indirectly, supported the movement. It is one small step for the Dionae but a giant leap in the right direction of equality of all. The Hum will continue to update you as time passes, including that of the charge increase so the Solarian criminals that gassed our siblings.
