  1. Most of my complaints were addressed, ignoring my dislike for the aesthetic. The only remaining complaint I have is that the blasters still all look like snub-nosed guns. Like versus
  2. The two posts above put into words what I could not. The Spirits themselves obviously had some effort but into them, but I don't like the general aesthetic. I genuinely prefer the standard black color we have now, and the ion rifle looks like it comes with a pre-installed toaster oven. Additionally, the Blasters lose some of their... longness? They've been compressed and it takes away from the cowboy feel I like about them.
  3. I can and will advocate for Tree Oppression
  4. @Skull132 Any updates on when/if this is being merged?
  5. I'm down to go a step further and make reinforced walls reflect emitter beams. That way it can still do what it's meant to do instead of being Engineering's Artillery piece.
  6. don't do the cow like that.
  7. DONT STOP DONT STOP WE'RE IN LOVE NOW (bump)
  8. I didn't think you could get bwionked for calling a creature, who is at the very least very much LIKE a Vampire, a Vampire.
  9. I am poggers, more pls
  10. adding an emag way to do it would be cool i think.
  11. Agreed. IPCs smoking is just one of those wacky quirks they get from being a malfunctioning computer.
  12. could always link the extended access to Code blue and red, preventing abuse on green.
  13. I am once again asking for a bump.
  14. Plagiarism More seriously though, good ideas all around. I was actually thinking about sticky grenades the other day. HALOS damage? That can still floor people if they get it enough, though it does dissipate quickly.
  15. ily shitcat
  16. Tbh I'm down for switching to access-keycards. But you'd have to decide where the line is drawn in terms of general access. Letting any joe-smo walking to mining and grab a pickaxe would probably be a no-go.
  17. BYOND Key: Butterrobber202 Total Ban Length: INF - N/A Banning staff member's Key: Alberyk Reason of Ban: "Opening fire on people on sight when they were not trying to od anything about them. You have a lot of notes and warnings already." Reason for Appeal: I had a lot of thoughts about this ban, but I think I'll open up with I now think it was pretty deserved. This specific round I believe it was a Merc round and we planned to yoink limbs/organs off of people. And I think that somehow lead to me thinking "oh we're here to de-organ people anyway, we're obviously hostile." Which probably is what lead to me being a bit more free with waving around my weapon, which eventually lead to me shooting someone. I actually considered making a staff complaint against Alberyk for awhile, but eventually I decided I was pulling shit out of my ass to validate my own innocence and that Alberyk (atleast during the numerous times he has had to deal with me) has been extremely fair and consistent with his rulings. Additionally, I really didn't want to be one of those players that contests every action taken against me. So I just waited until I could appeal, and here we are. As for the reason I should be unbanned, for me, it's because I enjoy playing antagonist roles. But, on the staff side of things, I suppose I have to ask for the "second chance" card. The large majority of the warnings and (I assume) notes I have are related to my antag play. So, again, it was pretty reasonable for Alberyk to apply this ban. As far as I am aware, during the entire time since the ban was placed, I have not been subject to administrative action. I could go on at length about how I've changed, but I'm really just the same me, with a my head slightly more firmly attached. Probably one of the worst things about this ban is the embarrassment of having to post a public appeal, because with all this delightful accumulation of hindsight, I feel pretty ashamed. If I was unbanned, during team modes I'd probably try and take a more backseat role when it comes to executing gimmicks and overall, try and be less "shooty shooty bang bang."
  18. could maybe randomize the weapon/armor. I assume each factions atleast have two different armor sets.
  19. fork
  20. I'm of this mind as well. Extending their combat longevity is fine in my book, but if you deploy rechargers in the field, you're basically giving Security infinite ammo.
  21. It wouldn't be hard (on paper) to create end goals for each religion we allow to be selectable in our lore. The problem would be coding it. Example, Moroz Holy Tribunal and Qeblak have Psionic themes, so instead of summoning Nar'sie the end goal could be a "Psionic Awakening" for that brand of cult. We could go through the other religions and find something appropriate for them as well.
  22. I definitely think cult could be improved by making it more generalist, but I wouldn't want their evil powers removed either, if we had more "good" powers then the choice of morally is simply left in the antag's hands.
  23. You are wrong, type apple pineapple if a guwan has you at gunpoint
