Yes, absolutely, but I think it is harder for CCIA to do so. We don't have many opportunities to get interacted with, by the community, so to say. Moderation and admins are the go to people to ask questions, regarding the game, the mechanics, the rules. Lore writers for their lore, which is a big deal in our server's environment - CCIA's regular way to interact with people is through faxes or, by extent through our agents because of IRs. I think NBT will change things up, regarding that, since the ever forward, persistent(!) nature of the server will give CCIA or its equivalent more importance to both the characters and thus, the players. During my last time as CCIA I was more active on the discord than any time before and after, I show presence on the forums and I will maintain my presence in OOC. tl;dr CCIA has less ways to regularly interact with players, so maybe we (read: CCIA) have to be more open and/or give players more reasons to interact with us aside from IRs (and faxes).

I left back then because it was a troubling time back then. I was writing my thesis, had to coordinate the assessment for a new employer and a subsequent move across the entire country. Other related experience, I used to write lab reports and assist in scientific papers for a long time before and during my bachelor's degree. Personality Why do you want to join the CCIA?: Despite the fact that CCIA often gets made a bit fun of, not "really" being staff and just being paper pushers we have the greatest influence over ongoing rounds (with admin assistance, sometimes). People expect answers to faxes, expect reactions to EBS messages. Expect a presence, outside the station. I loved writing up faxes, sometimes pulling names and jobs, that were responding from the top of my head. For example, whenever someone asked for confirmation of a message, I let Comms Officers answer. AI problems? The CTO or other IT Tech answers your fax. I liked it a lot and often jumped onto the server for answering faxes alone. The investigation part, consisting of IRs was fun, too. I liked the coordination between us back then very much. Even if it is not on the same level as mods or admins, CCIA is to answer questions, help with (IC) problems and being generally helpful to players. CCIA represents the server no less than other staff. How do you handle stress?: I keep a cool head in difficult situations, adopt quickly and run a clear no bullshit attitude when it comes to work. Even more so than in the past. How well do you work autonomously?: I learned to solve problems on my own during uni and I am now a (in training) superior to other people. The shield generators have been added ages ago, the remote mech was a fairly recent addition. For SOME reason they are not bolted down. They always required outside help of some kind. Making them bolted down would actually make them serve a purpose. Crazy. Please make it so.

The character Luna is a memorable member of medical and I have never had a negative experience with them and/or the player. They put a lot of effort into their character and their roleplay to be a believable person with goals, vices and a personality. While I must admit that I do not know their other characters well, I have no doubt that they are equally well played. They have my full support, +1

True, a message surely won't hurt, I agree. Also I did not think about bolting doors open, that really was useful in a lot of situations. A whitelist for AI was not wanted in the past and I think it is not a good solution to the problem. There must be other ways.

Dont open emergency shutters if you dont know what is on the other side, they are everywhere. They also almost always go down, so there are not really many reasons to bolt doors except deny access. At least I cant think of much from the top of my head People don't care, they already know that, it's not working Not a problem anymore since malf is a voted gamemode and not in the secret rotation This is an idea that was brought up in the past, and I still think that's pretty good. Camera tracking is way worse than bolting doors imo

The camera in the Consular Office should be removed. I am sure no diplomatic institution would tolerate a camera from a megacorp (even if it is an office on their turf, so to say), since there probably would be many sensitive documents or sofware that could be spied on.
