  1. They have retired so I'll move this application into the archives.
  2. So I was convinced you had sprited more than what was actually the case. I looked through the changelog entries and I only found three matches for your name and they're all clothes. Spriters are expected to handle more than just that - how can I be sure you'll handle things like floor sprites or wall sprites or a conversion to 3/4 or new machinery sprites if you haven't done anything of that sort? Ability to sprite clothes doesn't really translate into any of those is my point and to my knowledge you've only made one spriting PR so far, which I was willing to excuse earlier since I thought you had more PR'd by others, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Am I wrong here? If not, I think you need more sprite PRs to be really considered as a viable candidate.
  3. While passion isn't a bad thing, too much of it is. It can lead to you overstepping bounds because of eagerness to accomplish a task. Similarly, it can lead to things like you abusing powers or rushing a job. These are the main reasons why I'd be concerned about giving you the job: you have too much passion and you're too eager. This can be seen in the various discussions you've had in the loreteam and what Lauren said. Keep in mind that deputy loremasters will work closely with codebase maintainers and head staff and I haven't found your attitude one that I'd like working with. I unfortunately think that you do need a little more time to dull your edges before you can consider a management position that high up.
  4. I think that this kind of job is one that you need resolve for. You'll have to go against many of your friends and tell them things that you don't want to say, you'll have to impose restrictions that will piss people off, et cetera. I can see you having this resolve, but as you said, I haven't seen it from you. Perhaps you'll develop it in time. Now my biggest concern with a candidate from inside the lore team is that you'll have a lot of pull as deputy loremaster and conflicts of interests are abound. Would you retire from your position of Unathi lore developer? Do you plan on using your position to push anything that may have been denied before? Do you plan to change what species can be which jobs in any way? Do you plan to change what species can be which contractors in any way?
  5. You are often passive aggressive and downright snarky when dealing with people. I know because I had to deal with this during the Brainmed testmerges and other updates after that - I know for a fact that it didn't stop. This is not a new thing, as just mentioned; you do it on purpose, I would even say, not just in Discord channels but also in OOC and LOOC. I don't want to see you in a management position where you'll be criticizing people's hard work. Especially considering how your early criticisms of Brainmed consisted in insulting my own work. You had to be told by the Head Developer to leave the chat because you were spouting fairly vitriolic shit as an admin.
  6. I remember that this was indeed a thing eons ago, but it turned security officer into walking truth tellers that could not OOCly be doubted because they were unable to roll antag. I'm not opposed to making security unable to be roundstart antag, but I am a bit wary of its effect.
  7. Voting for dismissal. This would be extremely awkward and would make a few players in lowpop able to delay round starts for an extremely long amount of time, which to me is undesirable, while being mostly functionally useless on highpop. I don't think only the wishes of those who play the round matter. People in the lobby also want their shot at playing next round and voting transfer doesn't necessarily mean that they should be locked into playing. If they have sudden obligations to carry out or simply don't want to play because of a subpar ready list, it doesn't matter.
  8. Like the rest of command, they get self-defense weapons and are expected to be fit enough to use them appropriately. It'd also be a bit of a mess because every faction would then have their own requirements and it's just a giant headache. The fact of the matter is that chemists won't always be in the pharmacy. There will be times where they're needed around the GTR and if you're in a wheelchair you can't really do that.
  9. Changes that will be made soon: Forensic technicians will change from impaired to unimpaired. Cargo technicians will change from impaired to unimpaired. Janitor will change from impaired to unimpaired. Consular will remain as is since they have equipment that needs them to be reasonably able-bodied. Vision won't be split up as it seems too niche to me.
  10. It's fine, but very circumstantial. It can be very lethal but also not depending on how close the disposals bin is, or if there's medstaff playing.
  11. We have looked over the logs to assess @icedcabbage's antagonist play and we found the roleplay provided to be quite lacking: more specifically, there was no narrative driven. The attempted kills during the round were all attempted without sufficient roleplay; there's a recognizable pattern of forcing people into situations to kill them solely to later have a shootout with security, thus leaving roleplay as a side-thought more than your main objective. Because of this, a severe warning be applied. We expect you to overall give more roleplay to your victims and further a storyline instead of purely focusing on escalating with no real goal in mind. This complaint will be locked in 24 hours.
  12. We have looked over the logs and deemed the incidents mentioned in the original posts to be fine. You were given more than enough warnings (four) not to approach and at that point killing you was reasonable. The other incident mentioned with Liam Dozz instead escalated from the antagonist using glare, which you replied to by shoving, and they escalated into kicks. All of this is reasonable escalation. The other incidents mentioned, like general complaints about antagonist behaviour during this round, have been addressed in the other complaint on the player in question.
  13. I don't see why any of that would mean they should be whitelisted. I'd rather see them as an intro-to-command unwhitelisted role.
  14. Updated. IAA has been changed to Liaison and trials with Liaison or Consular characters are no longer possible.
  15. @Aboshedab and I will take this complaint with @Lemei's help. Expect a response within a few days.

  17. You said it's coinflippy but you haven't explained why that's bad at all. In fact, one might argue that's the point.
  18. On trial until 1MAY2021.
  19. On trial until 1MAY2021.
  20. I've actually played with your HoP enough to find out that they're not only a solidly well made character (you didn't promote any existing characters so you get extra points for that, well done, these points are subject to revokation if you ever promote a character). I also like the way you play command since I've stealth observed you a few times while pretending to play a comfy game of EU4. All in all, I don't regret +1ing you. Not that I thought I would've. I'm never wrong
  21. I'll make a decision on this somewhere around Friday or Saturday. Continue to gather feedback in the meantime.
  22. The ban expired and punishments are not removed unless they are found to be wrong. Appeals are not the place to contest a ruling; you're looking for a staff complaint here.
  23. This complaint is being denied. We've gone over your history and found way more than enough infractions to warrant a permanent ban, especially considering your terrible attitude all-around. And this is not even a problem only on our server: I've found out that you appealed the same kind of ban on Bay and it was rejected due to the same kind of history. The punishment will not be lowered. This is being archived in 24 hours.
