Hi. Recently, we merged the EMP rework PR that was testmerged for a week or so. Tell us how you've found the changes to EMPs and IPCs so far! The PR in question is: https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/10245 EMPs no longer deal permanent damage. Instead, they deal a temporary kind of damage called surge damage, that lasts for 10 seconds at maximum. Surge damage makes mechanical or assisted limbs count as broken and nonfunctional. Surge damage has special interactions with the mechanical heart and eyes. EMP damage is no longer randomized. It is now much more consistent. IPC battery is no longer represented as nutrition. Instead, the microbattery organ contains a super-capacity cell that is used for all their actions. This is represented with a new HUD icon. Hardsuits can now be charged in robot chargers if you are wearing them. Ion bolts now have a hit sound. Removed the ion rifle lethal mode. The ion rifle now has four shots.

That is not a citizenship, though. That's an origin, which is a very different thing. You can come from Sol and have a Biesellite citizenship. In your case, your character would be from wherever you want but end up having a Biesellite citizenship.

So your two complaints in essence are that A) you didn't break the rules and B) it wasn't strikeworthy. Let's start with B. As per the Discord rules: Similiarly, I'm under no obligation to warn you verbally first. Therefore, a strike was fine for what you did. As for A, let's look at the rule in question: "Be considerate" are the key words here. The picture you posted was the opposite. Some people just don't wanna see that content and I know for a fact because it was reported to me as creeping someone out of the chat. Hence why you were struck for it. The difference is that when I watch a documentary I CHOOSE to watch it. When I browse a discord chat I don't choose to look at whatever pictures you sent, I expect people to follow the rules and not post shit I don't wanna see.

Additionally, Price has shown public resentment regarding the SCC's usage of the bomb, to which the people I've presented can testify to, in addition to showing resentment towards the Aurora's contribution to the Republic's war effort. However, the testimonies and motives are overwhelming, and I have a convenient whiteboard with all the testimonies I've obtained so far. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? I don't agree with a revert and would not support one. Instead of reverting the disruptor, which is lazy, simply nerf one or more of the following attributes: - the ridicolous ammo capacity (12 shots); - the fact that a lethal shot is as good as a laser rifle's; - the non-lethal shots doing crazy high amounts of agony; et cetera.

You're a pretty good player. I remember the days where you only played pAI, then engineering apprentice, and I did end up telling you eventually that it was just a matter of time until you branched out to a different species first and a command application later. You're a solid roleplayer, a very chill person all around and someone I have a lot of fun playing with. I have no doubts that you'd play this character extremely well. However! One thing you didn't touch upon is your character's religion. What religion does your character follow? How much does it matter to them? What do they think of Tajara who believe in other religions?

There is this vicious cycle with your applications. You get a staff position. You reach the point where you're about to get kicked out. You retire. You go inactive. You come back 6 months later, or whatever, you make another app and you promise "I've changed", and in fact, you have not changed. This happened word for word when you retired as a developer, then came back as a synth lore deputy, then left and then tried to apply for some other deputy slot (skrell?). You have issues with being passive aggressive towards people. I still see the same problems in you that I pointed out when you tried to apply for synthetic lore deputy and the way you broke my trust then gives me very little confidence in you today.

Considering that someone else is handling this application as they sniped it due to my procrastination (damn you, Itzal), I suppose I'll have to leave my own feedback instead. Which is fair anyway, you're a dear friend to me, so perhaps it's better to have a third party handle this. You're a good player and person with whom I thoroughly enjoy playing with and your characters always manage to make me feel jealous in terms of how enjoyable they are compared to mine. Some of what you've said regarding characters has even stuck to me. Additionally, I don't doubt your competence in basically all areas of the game from what I've seen of you. I appreciate your presence when you are around, and I hope to see you play a head of staff in the very near future. That is not to say you are without flaws, because everyone has them. Your temper still needs some work, but I'm sure you can get past it easily. +1

This application is denied. I still don't think you've been back for long enough to justify trusting you with a whitelist. Moreover you have issues with going AFK for extended periods of time, in addition to your slew of notes from years prior. I encourage you to try again in a month or two when you can acquire some good feedback.
