@niennab Good responses on one and three (I especially like how you’ve phrased #1 as an introduction to playing a contractor), and my apologies for question two being somewhat unclear (this is what I get for writing when I’m tired). My clarification is below. The reporting officer is a human Idris contractor working as a security officer. In total you have four Idris contractors in security: two IRUs as the detective and CSI, one ISU as an officer, and one human officer. Let’s assume that, in this revised scenario, the quartermaster is also an Idris contractor, along with two of her cargo technicians and one of the bartenders. With all this information, how do you manage the ISU’s odd behavior?

An unsung hero of lowpop and a great person overall. I must, however, keep with my tradition and ask some questions. 1). A cook employed by NanoTrasen comes to you inquiring about transferring her contract to Idris, but she has some doubts. How do you assist her in this process and convince her it’s a good idea? 2). An Idris security officer reports that an ISU on-duty is acting weird. It’s not being openly aggressive yet, but it is acting kind of glitchy and the officer informs you that he’s tried his best to keep this from the head of security in order to not damage the image of Idris. Both members of investigations are IRUs owned by Idris, but there is only one Idris officer. How do you handle the ISU? 3). An Idris bartender comes to you around halfway through the shift, at about 00:55, with complaints about her coworker. The bartender is an Idris-contracted, though free, shell and the other bartender is a skrell with a serious grudge against synthetics. How do you manage this incident and, if it comes to it, would you file an IR on behalf of the shell? Remember that there are no real wrong answers. I look forward to your response!

I’ll vouch for Cybs as well. Cybs is very good at roleplaying and many of my good memories from Bay involve their corpsman and their various skrell. I am excited to see what they can do with a skrell whitelist here, and this application has my support. +1 gamer frog.

If it's meant to be a monopoly where we buy NT-brandTM cigarettes, why are so many crew members allowed to bring cigarettes from home? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the monopoly mechanically and in-lore?

There is no reason for the price of this to remain so high. One pack can cost an assistant’s whole account. Vaurca food made from phoron is, hilariously, less expensive than cigarettes if I recall right.

This is a good idea, as it allows antagonists to more easily dodge the AI while only looking slightly more suspicious than normal.

If you do want to add a replacement for this this is infinitely better than the jumpsuit, which does not fit security at all.

The second image in this thread is the uniform of the SA, Marlon. You then accused the spriter (Amory) of being a "huge fan" of Rhodesia, which wore green and brown uniforms.

I am a full-time graduate student so classes and research make up my main responsibilities. How long have you played Space Station 13?: About a year and a half now, to my memory. How long have you played on Aurora Station?: Since May/June 2019. It’s definitely my favorite server I’ve played on thus far, and I don’t believe I’ll leave any time soon. One of my major issues with Baystation12 was (and is) that in-character issues had to be solved in an out-of-character manner due to the lack of continuity. Aurora solves these issues in an in-character manner, and I wish to be a part of that. What do you think are the most important qualities for a CCIA Agent to possess?: The most important quality for a CCIA Agent to have is the ability to maintain a level head and remain unbiased in situations. You cannot effectively be an agent while being biased. An Agent must be logical, calculated, and reasonably detached from the situation you are dealing with. What do you think the purpose of a CCIA Agent is in an ongoing round?: The purpose of a CCIA Agent in an ongoing round is to assist in the flow of the round and any ongoing gimmicks inside it. A CCIA Agent can make or break a round’s flow through their ability to coordinate with both the administrative team and the antagonists and, when all three groups work together, the results can be incredible. Aside from this, there is also their ability to conduct IR interviews during a round. What do you think the purpose of a CCIA Agent is outside of the server?: Handling incident reports is the most obvious one. However the agents of the CCIA also work to clarify and uphold directives, regulations, and station procedure. Some of these regulations are somewhat vaguely written, so the role of a CCIA Agent is important here. How do you handle stress?: Quite well, honestly. I would not be a graduate student about to receive a master’s degree at 23 if I could not handle stress. How well do you work autonomously?: Quite well – I am trusted to work alone on human lore as one of its two deputies, and am trusted to study a wide variety of topics independently as a graduate student. I like Bear a lot as a player, despite Yahir being a terrrrrrrorrrrrist, and know he can definitely RP and manage responsibility. I honestly thought he had a command whitelist already, oops. But, as I have come to despise giving empty +1s, I do have some questions. There are no real right or wrong answers here, and I just want to gauge your response. 1). As the research director, you are given a handcuffed and sedated changeling. You have two xenobiologists: one is a good player that you know, and the other is one of the players that the head of personnel gets a warning notice about at the start of the shift - they have five charges for minor infractions like abuse of communications and petty theft. The good player has a lab assistant assisting them, and the head of security urgently wants you to get the changeling into xenobiology. What do you do, and how do you ensure that your trouble xenobiologist doesn't hamstring your efforts? 2). As the head of purrsonnel (I'm sorry) you shut your office to go visit cargo, and see how they're doing. Along your way there a drunk assistant, in a grey jumpsuit and all, begins harassing you for being a tajara. You're presently outside medical's lobby and he's verbally aggressive, but not physically violent yet. However, he has said that he has a knife. What do you do here? Remember that the head of personnel gets an energy pistol and .45 pistol loaded with flash rounds. 3). As the captain a wizard warps into your office and tells you that he is here to fire you and assume control of the station on orders of central command. It's around fifteen minutes into the shift, and you have two security officers along with a detective the obligatory SSD cadet. The only other head of staff is a chief engineer, who may or may not be Oliver Roadman in this example as I rarely see anybody else playing the job. What do you do? 4). You have four officers and need to get armory access and a spare person to swipe. Three officers are very good at their job and are established security names that are generally respected, but are contractors. The fourth is a NT officer but is obviously quite new and barely speaks English, and was just charged for excessive force. How do you get armory access and the additional swipe now that there's no good candidate for interim head of security? 5). What do you plan to do on elevated alert levels as the captain or head of personnel? I look forward to your responses!
