  1. This event is incredibly annoying and stupid. It forces vendors to start throwing their products at you and can only be fixed if you know the red light for the vendor. It often results in piles of items around a room because engineers didn't get to it. No one finds it fun, it's not much of a challenge- it's just a boring chore like having to make and move shields in the past.
  2. Yeah, I don't know why it pops up as a box. It should just come up in chat like normal stuff. Stop being snowflaek smh
  3. I'm pretty fine with this, but the only thing that worries me is the fact that your HoS dislikes Skrell which irks me the wrong way because it feels like a small way to almost force them into the Warbling events, which I know you yourselve have been involved in as a conspirator w/ Jake and all. Before the events, Jargon was very quiet so humans mostly had a neutral outlook on them or a positive one based on what Fedcitizen Skrell said. This is all just suspicion though- I really just don't want to see a HoS who would act unreasonable and stupidly deny tups basic things which I am sure won't happen over a little skeptic paranoia.
  4. God no. Two and a half hours is the maximum amount of time I'd want as the MINIMUM. People don't like three hour rounds- there's a reason most Continue Votes never hit them and if they do, you bet there's gonna be a transfer vote after unless it's deadhour and people are joking around. 3-4 hour rounds also fucks with bulk-rounds/binging. The current two-hour formula means if that if we get the CT exactly at 2:00, we'll be back at the lobby for a new round by 2:16 round-time. If you do three or four rounds, people will only be able to get really just one game before they have to go- that round could suck ass for them and fuck with them. Also, while three-aurora rounds is only six hours wasted (about a fourth of the day). Three rounds that follow this new format (or bay's since they have 3 hour rounds), it's nine hours wasted. Even just two rounds could be their entire evening. I dislike the very idea of this, and it'd probably result in much harsher deadpop/who-list drops.
  5. First status update of 2020. Get on my plane of existence, plebs

  6. There used to be purple text that told you about it. I wonder where it went.......
  7. This is the most I've ever seen people looking at the forums at once. Should I post a screenshot of what I mean or leave people to guess for the future, for comical purposes?

  8. I don't understand this. Can't normal traitors basically do this by coordinating shit?
  9. bumping this because I'd like to see the Omega Directive followed as well as an example lvl 8 biohazard so I know when it could be pushed for usage during secret and since black k'ois is adminspawn only now, you could consider that one hehe
  10. -Lii'dra+Dionaea one w/ nein's art in it (allegedly) -Dionaea suddenly upping and leaving -A few of the earlier ones, I think I want them to have a label slapped on them instead of fully deleted so you can at least have an archive of them and think "hey, maybe this can work if we just tweaked it"
  11. They're a pain in the ass to reload, can't easily fit in your backpack like a normal gun and their only storage slot right now is the back- which is where you have your duffel bags and backpacks/satchels. Letting them at least fit in a suit slot wouldn't hurt.
  12. Oh, would you look at that, someone's advocating for something we lost, almost like psych having a mechanical responsibility isn't that bad and some people actually enjoy thi-- Just remove the memory loss thing, I planned on suggesting that weeks ago- when we first got brainmed. Memory-loss RP is pretty boring because you don't know how much you SHOULD remember, and sometimes you really don't want to just fucking forget everything and go "HUHHH? I KNEW YOU?" If people want to do memory rp, they can rp that themselves because that power should be left to special devices or self-inflicted rp- not brain damage (which is easy to accumulate if you aren't playing super safe)
  13. Crossbows are pretty damn painful right now because they only fit on your back and you need to constantly reload. We could at least relieve some of the pain that comes from using them by allowing them to fit on your belt or suit slot. The plausibility of this realistically? I don't know, it's just painful being stuck with it in your hands.
  14. Agent IDs are already untrackable, just turn on Electro-Warfare (which is on by default, actually)
  15. Why don't we just remove them? They literally have no function (and no, the occasional bounty for the mythical lizard hide from Unathi is not a function)
  16. GreenBoi

    Very salty man

    I cower before thee.
  17. Yelling or typing in capslock should cause lungdamage if you have ruptured lungs

  18. Viruses can only spawn if there's a biochemist on, but I don't think we need viruses or virology. Virology is ONLY used for viruses and nothing else, no one enjoys it and it's just a nuisance.
  19. We've had cigarettes for years ingame, we swear, we have drugs and alcohol ingame. Why are we acting like it's a problem now? This isn't even related to the topic. These threads are starting to get ridiculous now with some of these requests. Now, for stuff actually pertaining to the suggestion at hand. I think that the number of cigarette packets are fine and offer a great variety for different species. The rolling paper? I think that should be reduced to a singular brand because, as Kaed said, there are no mechanical differences AND you cannot give much roleplay from different types of rolling paper. Even with different cigarette packs, you could link it to corporate loyalty, cost, or feeling- not much you can do with rolling packs. I actually agree with the chewing tobacco bit- it can smell and unlike normal gum, it has to be spat out and take up place and look extra disgusting because it's tobacco and I think that's something a place the Aurora wouldn't want. Some other, more lowlife NT facility? Definitely would allow, but the Aurora? No. I don't think the Aurora would allow tobacco past a cigarette.
  20. I don't really think we need a sauna- doesn't accomplish anything, and it fits more as an in-round construction project, like N8 said.
  21. Currently the Integrated Circuit Printer is classified as a bulky item and is unable to fit in your backpack. This is annoying because it means you have to haul it around in your hands or pull it, but the circuit kit has a decent amount of what the ICP has, but can actually fit inside your backpack. I'm in belief it should be changed to a normal-sized item because the argument that "well, it can make and hold a lot of circuits" falls apart considering the circuit kits can already hold a lot of circuits.
  22. Yes, please. The hunger slowdown fucking sucks ass when it happens when you're meant to be 'peckish' and you're suddenly 25% slower like you've never done exercise in your life. It's even worse for vaurcae because they walk slower than humans (1.6667t/s compared to the chad human 2t/s) to either down sugar or k'ois to refill it and that can drain their money least they want to walk at the rate of fucking 1.25t/s which is equivalent to dionaea or G1s.
  23. No no no, please. Roboticists need protolathe access so they can print the shit they need without having to always ask- sometimes they will hack in there and print themselves the nanopaste they need or the parts they need to upgrade their mechfabs to not be economically inefficient. Also, you can already lock protolathes w/ the settings section of the research control console. Roboticists are allowed to use the protolathe to print shit, just not research though I do think that roboticists being unable to do any research is stupid because people usually do some research work before delving into the field of robotics or sometimes even both, but that's for another day
  24. Cool and good, Maybe Detective and CSI will get a bit for mechanical fun while they antags have to think a bit more ahead for pure stealth operations.
  25. AIs can already jump to general locations. Actually, they can save a specific location to their cameras and jump back there later. This feature is incredibly underused, but right now it allows you to save the location of the antags, check a different call, and jump back.
