There are a few things mixed together. Giving ERT more power and the ability to charge heads of staff with neglect of duty for being called is a very bad idea. Regarding removing the players ability to call ERT: As outlined by coalf usually ERT is called if security is dead or inoperational due to other means. Therefore removing the ability to directly call ERT would not help, as should be granted in those circumstances. The issue with "severely reducing" the equipment available to ERT is that our current antags have been buffed in a way that even ERT can have a hard time against most of our antags and that ERT has been used quite often as a reason that we need to buff certain antags. (One example are those cult EMPs that only effect non-cult members; amongst many other things) If the capabilities of the ERT would be reduced severely we would have to take a good look at the current antag abilities. Then there are also the other usages of a ERT. Sometimes a ERT isnt needed because of the firepower, but because a small group of antags is constantly poping up in multiples placed throughout the station, keeping the station at a code red, as a confirmed threat is still present. Calling a ERT is used to tell the antags to either wrap it up and leave or face the ERT and therefore providing a end to prolonged rounds. I see a few ways to change the ERT: * When swiping for a ERT a reason has to be specified. * The actual activation of the ERT is delayed by a few minutes, giving available staff time to stop a ERT if they deem it not required. * If the round went on for less than two hours or there is still a large number of security officers active, then the ERT is delayed by 15 to 20 minutes (before ghosts even get the option to sign up as ERT); Alternatively just use the number of total deaths. These changes together will force the present heads of staff to provide a actual reason why a ERT is needed and allow staff to cancel the call if they deem that the ERT is not needed. They will also allow the antags to prepare for a ERT (if the round is still relatively "new").

I dont really see the need to add the "full coverage for all major religions". We have quite a few items ingame already that are not too specific and can be used however the chaplain or shaman likes.

It is already possible to print a receipt via the cargo control application (for all orders) The contents of the receipt depend on the current status of the transaction. Is there something missing ?

Those are the results, after votes made by accounts that have most likely been made with the purpose of influencing the vote have been removed.

The box of illumination shells that we have just contains flash shells which illuminate a area only for a few seconds.

https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/5318 partially implements whats suggested here. It reduces the number of charges in the staff of change and increases the recharge timer making it less useful for combat. But ultimately it should be rewritten into a system that temporarily changes people.

The Next Big Thing - The Official Write-up Boogaloo
Arrow768 replied to Skull132's topic in General Announcements
There will definitly be no shutdown of the server involved when rolling back the map. Ideally the admins will get a button that allows them to just stop persisting changes to the map made / set a older version as "boot-version" -> So that once the next round starts the specified state is loaded. Changing the map during the current round (rolling back changes) is not needed and not a goal as antagonist action during a round should definitely have consequences, these actions just should not persist. Regarding antagonists: Antagonists will definitely be a thing, however there wont be persistent antagonist chars (as in the player can set the faction of his char to "syndicate" and they will always be a traitor) -

Merchant Station Can't be used for Cultists
Arrow768 replied to Butterrobber202's topic in Completed Projects
ICly it makes sense that the cultists would use the merchant station as access to it is impossible for the station crew. However oocly that is not a good idea as the antags are supposed to engage the crew. They cant do so on the merchant station and it will turn into a siege situation as the merchant shuttle is fixed to a single location. During the last cult round they just moved the shuttle back and forth between the merchant dock and the station. When the ERT was about to breach the shuttle by flanking it, they just moved it back again. Therefore I would make it impossible to draw runes on z 1 as well as the merchant shuttle. This will force the antags to set up a base of operations on the station (We have a very expansive maint area that can be used or alternatively the construction level) and engage the crew directly. -
Hold on. There are two things that need to be cleared up: All vending machines can be restocked using the restock cartridges from the janitor. -> if your vending machine is empty. Ask for them to restock it. (You can also help yourself to the restock cartridge by ordering it from cargo or "getting it") There is a minimum item count that all vending machines start with. Its not possible that a vending machine is completely empty at roundstart.

I concur with the arguments posted by LordFowl and do not believe that adding playable children contributes to more enjoyable rounds. Therefore voting for dismissal aswell. -
I´m slightly opposed to yet another role. Why not just rename the virologist to pathologist and make them responsible for the deceased ? Their research is usually not time-sensitive, unless there is a ongoing viral outbreak which is not too common. But even then thats resolved in a few minutes.

If I wanted to clean up this topic I would have to delete most posts in there. Make sure to stick to the topic at hand: Changing how the metabolisation of chems of the same type works. We´ll most likely poll that and see how it goes.

Voting for dismissal for the same reason. They can speak to them in their office or the interview room.
