  1. As it says on the tin. Overpressurization is a pretty laughable joke. You can turn pressure down 50% and you'll burst a lung instantly and die in a few minutes, but you can turn the pressure up 550% and stand around in the insane pressure, laughing as it does one brute every 20 seconds. I stood around in this high pressure for 10 minutes until my lungs popped, then another 5 minutes with a burst lung, slowly bleeding out until a combination of two gave me brain damage and killed me. Im not asking for pressure to instantly kill someone at 200 kPa, but atleast let it be more damaging than a single brute every 20 seconds or so at 650 kPa.
  2. I do agree with Abo. They can prove themselves as a stable, positive member of our community first. The enthusiasm for wanting to do more for the community is commendable though, but still too soon. In the future, for sure.
  3. One suggestion would to add another option to the cloner. The standard scan for regular (original owned) clones And an.. Option where you attempt to rebuild neural pathways (Draft a ghost) to clone. If both fails, it'll just become a bag n' tag with MIF. The second option could probably have a better name, I unno
  4. At the very moment, closing a crate on someone crushes them. Although the trashcart one seems interesting enough.
  5. IPCs does have flash vulnerability now, yes. Besides, a sunglasses mod to block flashes would obviously be locked behind sec roles. As you wouldnt try to flash a sec officer anyway, right? Med/sechuds has no effect on the game one way or another if its visible or not. I see no drawback to this.
  6. As a temporary fix (That only accounts for the sublevel crashes) If you move to THIS tile, as highlighted here, you can safely move-up without crashing. Just be sure to pan over to research if you accidentally move down to medical aswell. You're welcome! OwO
  7. If I remember correctly, some instances of hotlink jumping and moving up from sublevels causes clientside runtimes or something. It is apparently fixed in the newest version of byond.
  8. Im pretty sure there was some hurr durr about this at some point, but.. Im very much for this. Gives medical incentive to bother with records other than checking DNC. And gives you a chance to laugh if they just lol around and inject you with something you're deathly allergic to and you die horribly.
  9. I dont see how having these is a bigger security breach waiting to happen then.. Having direct knowledge of the nuclear failsafe residing in the vault.
  10. I felt the need to share dis. Captains can relate, Im sure :^)
  11. Oh no not a round where the antag wins. Although the point of the game is not to win, it is a valid point. ERT is basically the "Im tired of the round antags/we're getting stomped on, time to end it" call button. I am supportive of the suggestion, or something similar.
  12. This whole segment is completely unrelated to the complaint, but I'll tell you what. You say Im too immersed with roleplay, and care too much about my own immersion being broken. The situation you were refering to was ahelped by someone, and I was observing. And at that time, I was enforcing OOC rules that applied for the diona species. You can roleplay IPCs like army grunts, Tajara as emotionless robots or Unathi as brain damaged infants if you so please, I really couldnt give two shits about it. You roleplay how you want, but you are expected to do it in a way that is in accordance with the rules. Because as I see it, your final line there basically state that you will break rules for convenience, and that is infact, an OOC problem.
  13. The pictures tells a story that would raise a lot of curious questions about important events in Raymond's life. I do like this a lot!
  14. Alrighty, so Ive done some logdiving, and found that There was a good 15 second period between when the commander said for people to stay on the shuttle, to the point where you where stabbed, where two additional warnings of "Stay inside" and "Dont move" were given by the commander with around 5 second pauses between them. Reading through the complaint here, you basically start it with "I did not pay attention to the chat". And you say you followed their "Do not move" orders, but you were attacked regardless? Either you moved or you didnt. I was trying to give a few examples as to why some people wouldnt really care about a lowly nymph, but it seems I picked a wrong example to go by. Icly, you dont know what the deathsquad had orders to do or what they have seen/experienced on station after they got in. HAPT, or deathsquad as they're known as, are called in when shit is fucked beyond reason. They're essentially an erradication squad. Now, what did the HAPT do? They tried assessing and containing the threat, but that failed. So they moved onto the final contingency, going nuclear. By doing this, they destroyed a multi billion credit, state of the art research facility, killed of an unknown alien specimen that could have been invaluable to weapons research, and killed any survivors that might have been hiding somewhere. Do you honestly think that the Commander that ordered the absolute destruction of the station, alien specimens and possible survivors gives two shits about a singular nymph, an animal that cant follow a simple order from them to stay on the shuttle? For all that he knows, you were influenced or corrupted by the unknown aliens with something that couldnt show up on scans. He didnt just randomly stab at you. He went at you because you failed to look at the chat and it was most likely taken as an act of aggression/defiance. They are under no obligation to protect some unknown nymph as opposed to crew.
  15. When spawning as a character with an implant you typically get the message "You feel a sudden surge of loyalty toward NanoTrasen" or something like that. Do you not get it when implanted? I have never gotten this message as HoS or Captain. And no, there is zero indication as in my orginal quoted post. I tested it out to be sure.
  16. Thing is though, you have zero clue that you're loyalty implanted if someone doesnt physically tell you that "I am going to loyalty implant you now." It gives no message when implanted while you're awake. It gives no message when implanted while you're unconcsious. So how exactly would someone know they're LI'd when there is zero indication of such, other than being told by a scan or someone with a sechud. And how is a one time reminder that you have someone stuck in your head more annoying than.. Tajaran "Your skin is itchy" lines, for example. Those print every three minutes? Besides, its not like everyone has to deal with this, its two people by default.
  17. Right so, basically.. Remove these two on the bottom And replace it with.. An hover-over indicator of how much atmos and/or what the temperature in the room is. Because as is, it serves zero purpose.
  18. As borgs have their infinite extranet and databases to connect to, wouldnt it make sense for them to know things about the employees they serve aswell? Suggestion is pretty simple: Add the ability for a borg or an AI to access security, medical and employment records via their verbs, instead of needing to hunt down a computer to check.
  19. If you put jackets on, or cover any cooling fans up in general, things does tend to melt if the thermal failsafe doesnt kick in. Why would a machine need a jacket anyway? Display your stronk metal body!
  20. There was a very similar change made recently, namely the chemical dispensers. Their default setting was to dump the contents into waste, instead of back into the beaker. This was pinned and changed with ease, so why the difficulty with this one? If you need to communicate with it, you can turn it on, if you mis-speak and it broadcasts stationwide, you cannot take it back.
  21. I would like to have this switched off aswell. It is annoying af. Its a QoL thing, and having it off by default shouldnt be a major issue.
  22. This seems like an ahelpable meta issue. One of the purposes of the station bounced radio icons is to know that the audio you're hearing is infact coming from a handheld radio and so fourth. In any case, an alternate solution would be better instead of straight up removing it. Who said this?
  23. AIs/Borgs would still know which were which. Also the icons in general are an indication to these of what device is being used, be it internal radio circuitry, a bounced radio, wall mounted, interdepartmental communication devices or a headset in general.
  24. Jumping onto the practically least played species eh? Would be interesting to see how you'll make this character work. Wrbl wrbl :^) Best of luck on your apparoo!
