Miners will be motivated to mine and actually have the materials delivered by themselves to receive upgrades and science will have something useful to print for once. Everything else can stay, I recognize the KA/RIG/etc. makes the job much easier, I just don't think something like the AoE upgrade should be freely available for a pretty low point cost. It turns the job into a triviality. I have recently been annoyed by miners who strip-mine the entire asteroid and do not deliver a single material until the 2 hour mark because they're on their way to escape anyways, departments should co-operate instead of sitting in their little bubbles of content.

We already have cybereyes, cyberheart, ticker, cyberweiner whatever in the loadout. Last I checked we don't have an "Ear" organ. This seems like an okay way to address hearing loss without having to create another organ or having to put some kind of "implant" into the players head to malfunction. Not only that but it gives you an option to do it, doesn't force you into it. Also sci-fi.

I'll say the unpopular thing, I don't like the backstory. I'm not a fan of this "re-purposed IPC duder is now a crewmember", it's not my speed and I think it's all around overdone. You DID use the new lore event to explain why they were accepted and that part I like VERY much, but I feel like it's a good idea used in a poor story. Outside of that you can handle your RP well I know that, your characters are also drasticailly different showing that you indeed do understand that roleplay means playing a character and not playing yourself. I don't have issue with any of the other responses. So yes, I do not like the backstory, I feel like it's overdone but that might be my personal opinion and I don't have any other issue with you getting the whitelist outside of that.

What you just said undermines itself. Why would I exactly order firing pins when as you said assault-shotguns are available? If you compare the two, the effort, time, malfunction chance and even if you have max level parts, low strenght, just makes Modular Guns absolutely worthless, not only on rev but to security who can just use their own weapons to a better effect. On other other hand you have assault shotguns, the downside is that they're expensive and come in a locked crate. That's it, they're better, much MUCH stronger than anything on station, and never malfunction with the added bonus that ammo is nearly limitless as long as you have a hacked prolathe. So modular guns right now are, pointless, I have not seen a modular gun used once outside of testing range and I play this game DAILY. Second the "teamwork" thing seems to be completely biased to thinking science is the rev starting department, now imagine science ISN'T a rev department but instead a cargo tech/sec officer/med doctor is. Why would I recruit science? (excluding robotics) They can't provide me with better weapons, none of the existing items in science are actually useful outside of nanopaste and modular guns which as we mentioned are weaker, breakable, time consuming to make etc etc. On your second point. Why? Again why would I order pins? If I order pins as a non-antag, well why am I ordering them? To hunt valids? I can't do that, it's against the rules and I already know security doesn't actually want these guns since they don't give me the pins, they'll just take the gun and put a pin in it at armory or get a lawgiver instead of a modular gun. Maybe I AM an antag like traitor, ling or vampire? Well WHY would I get firing pins? The guns I can summon are way more powerful than anything I can make in science and if anything I could just again order an assault-shotgun. And if I'm a rev? Well again, why am I ordering it? I can just get an assault-shotgun for a few shekels more which my co-revs will provide. Firing pins were conceived in a time before modular weaposn and as of now have COMPLETELY negated modular weapons, instead giving way for cargo to print billions of Force Gloves, Energy Glaives, Shields, Plasma Cutters or just makeshift guns. It was a lazy way to solve the "Gun Factory" problem, the issue isn't really that science COULD make weapons but that science COULD NOT make anything ELSE. Seriously how many useful items can you print in science that help different departments than science? Machine upgrades take good 20 minutes, the single surgery tool is useless as it only saves about 2 seconds of operation and just gets surgeons confused and nanopaste is something people are eternally butthurt over. And then you have nothing. In the best result we add more stuff to science, something that is being worked on so I'm excited about that. But we are speaking of today and not tommorow so AT-LEAST allow science to print their own firing pins. I don't care if it's stupidly materially expensive or the research is on the level of Energy Glaives just give them a CHANCE to have fun.

Frankly it's very hard to discern good intentions if they are packed under so many layers of brine that an eel would enter toxic shock. Now to address a few things. One and the main one, it seems like you made this complaint not because of "Rising Tension" but mainly because of that single confrontation on discord. Round on the day of 02/12/2018, you were the only one to PM me in discord to discuss the round as you were the other person alongside Burger who expressed they were upset about the round.

Short, to the point, nothing extra but nothing important detracted either. I agree with Xander that I wish for biography to be explanded, providing a shorty story or a timeline of life events does involve our decision making process as we can often tell if a character would be good/bad for a role depending on their personality. I know your notes, from those I have gauged you don't have favorble standing with security. I know when you did or did not ahelp things, none of the things you described have been ahelped as far as I know of and further none of the officers have received an IR or a Character complaint. Security are a reactive force. You do something, security goes against you. So yes, if there was prior proper escalation and the station was up in arms already you are allowed to stop them from boarding the shuttle that way. Again we could ignore that ahelp, we could shorten our investigations, we could just stop interviewing every side of the argument, we could perhaps just press "close" on any ahelp that features a death by antagonist so we don't disturb him in his gameplay, indeed we could. But we don't, we look at logs, we look at VV, we interview the victim, we interview the antagonist, we interview the possible observers or witnesses. This is how proper investigations work and the reason we ask instantly one the place is because we have to get a fresh picture, if we always asked at the end of the round you're even LESS likely to remember the events properly and it's much harder to differenciate lying from just misremembering. When one admin warns a cultist for beheading a few people, but another tells me in an ahelp that my random, without interaction or roleplay, sprint up and run off beheading and then the beheading of various other's is 'valid', there's an issue in how rules are enforced. (Have you considered that you yourself are biased towards the issue because of your personal involvement? *gasps in catalonian*) Jokes aside, you don't have Logs, you don't have the story of every party on station, you don't have AOOC, you don't have View Variables, compared to an Administrator or Moderator your view is extremely limited. This is hippocritical, you're criticizing security for acting too LRP and Validhunting and then in the same breath you say that antags should be allowed to act that way but security shouldn't. Also we do have reigns on security, it's called Heads, you see we like to let players deal with their issues instead of needlesly stepping in and punching down on them. You have ahelps, you have character complaints, you have IR's, you have staff complaints, you yourselves can put feedback on others heads or report to us that heads aren't acting properly and their head whitelists should be stripped. None of this has happened, instead we always get informed through some third party ranposting in discord or Forum and whenever we ask for specific names and situations we suddenly get the "Oh I don't remember, I don't know, It was so long agoooooo" If you want to solve a problem you need to put effort into solving it instead of throwing your opinions in unreletead threads.

I have been personally requested by the player to observe him to appropriately provide feedback before the final judgement. Upon my observations I have learned that Tokash is not a good character for said role. While yes his validhunting and spearchucking ways have been curved he is much too reserved and "Serious Warrior Type". They say "Words silver, silence gold", but in this case it does not apply. Tokash is one of those people who saves his words to report "only important things" however I've seen his performance suffer because of this as often he simply doesn't call out or communicate with his team. This has led to minor problems that slowly and slowly escalate into bigger problems which are frankly near unnoticable from a player perspective. While sure a HoS needs to be a large robust laddie he is most importantly THE person who enforces communication and gives out orders. While being a frontline HoS is okay, you should primarly focus on directing your department towards issues instead of silently taking care of them, no matter how small they actually are.
