  1. A problem with malf is its supreme power, as well as the fact that it has no variance whatsoever. The end goal is almost always to pop delta and get combat borgs, which is incredibly boring. Even if you go the route of borgifying people, it's still on the road to delta. Narratively, delta could be cool, but the whole thing has been overdone to the point that I just want to roleplay something of actual value, not repeat the same "oh i gotta kill the AI so i can continue having fun" over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
  2. I quite like renegade. I keep it on my characters that I don't full-antag with. I don't think it's implemented lazily either, considering that the code serves the purpose: to spawn a gun in someone backpack. There is a PR up currently to spice up which guns they get as well. Yes, it encourages valid hunting, but considering the number of antagonists in the round, that leads to an overall more chaotic round, which we've found to be much more entertaining every now and then.
  3. The only reason I ever approved the PR so soon after BrainOS had his sprites implemented was the phrase "with brainOS' blessing.". If it were not there, I would have questioned why it were changed so soon afterwards. I do not appreciate being lied to. Nor do I appreciate the implication that a developer has to consult with another developer before making a change. That sounds like a veiled threat, from someone who has absolutely zero authority making such. Wezzy has no more sway over what gets implemented than I do, or any of the developers do. The fact that a falsehood was placed at the very start of a PR should indicate that. Such matters are reserved for the Head Developers, Skull and Arrow, as well as the Maintainers, Matt and Alberyk (as well as the former). They are appointed to be the final decision makers in whether a PR is good for a server. NOT a developer, though we developers have some say, especially if code is inefficient, unbalanced, or game-breaking. Apologies that this slipped by me, it might happen again, but in that case, shoot a PM to myself or the maintainers and we'll sort it out right quick. Thanks, community.
  4. @Marlon Phoenix bet
  5. Your implementation seemed different, but alright.
  6. I made ninjas have two ninjas, instead of one. I think it'd be better to have antags scale by playercount, thus your implementation would be better than mine. Rude?
  7. Yeah. I quite like the floaty drone.
  8. https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/8235
  9. This is a pretty good idea. Much better than me clumsily adding another ninja to ninja.
  10. I like this set-up as well.
  11. Bust ass harder. I encourage people to try and beat me. Matt did it.
  12. I think it's a good thing to promote. I enjoy seeing my busting-ass efforts being appreciated. I assume others do as well.
  13. can't you just adjust the aim options to allow people to move clicking on harm intent disables to safety, so you have a one click stopgap, i believe
  14. As I said on the PR itself, I'm not very keen on making the sole reason we're here be sold for so cheap. It being worth so much creates a gameplay loop where it's actually used and sold, and miners seek it out, which fits with the lore narrative. Making it worth less, makes miners seek it out less, which doesn't make sense.
  15. Voting for dismissal for the reasons above.
  16. Shen has good answers, good personality, and good experience. I trust them. They have my support to become my co-deputy.
  17. In my opinion, it's fine. Detectives aren't supposed to ask for armory gear in the first place. They'll only ever get armory gear if there is literally no other option. A Warden + Detective who arm up with no justifiable reason is just that, unjustified. I would say: merge it for a week, maybe longer. If it gets abused, we can pull it out. If not, we keep it.
  18. Not really relatable to hovercar keys or home keys. I was thinkin' more a keyring with shit attached, a small ID card with an RFID attachment, or a keyfob.
  19. If sprites are made, this can still be pursued.

  21. https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/8155
  22. Changed Custodian to Curator.
  23. Partially implemented by: https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/8141 Let's see if it gets merged / accepted. If it does, I can move on from there.
  24. Updated it. The roof solars now work automatically, kicks in at around 2.5 minutes into the round.
  25. https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/8137 I tried my best.
