  1. I am making an attempt to bring some colour back into the items we have, and figured it'd probably be a good idea to gather feedback on the colours I used, so here it is. Lemme know what you think of it.
  2. Made the revert PR here. https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/10206 Please leave any feedback here, for or against.
  3. The link has an extra : Here's the correct one. https://wiki.aurorastation.org/index.php?title=Guide_to_Modular_Weaponry
  4. Could you DM me the .dmis for these?
  5. i don't tend to say a lot of words on these things, but i endorse few of them as is, so uh yeah fuck +1 i trust they'll be good
  6. I've been watching Zyrus for a while now, and I don't think the lack of feedback is really an issue of "cliches" or cliques, but of Zyrus being middling average, or just generally rude, when speaking OOCly. I don't think they would be able to do command very well.

  8. I think whispering to yourself like a lunatic is part of the charm of having a psionic slug inhabiting your braincase.
  9. Reporting Personnel: Za'Akaix'Fuk K'lax Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Cook Game ID: b9c-bGeX Personnel Involved: - Sergey Tarkov, Warden (Offender) - IRU-Zenith, Detective (Witness) - Pokazli Tupoi'Rlakor, Cook (Direct Witness) Secondary Witnesses: - Cart Kanara, Nanotrasen Liaison (Witness) Time of Incident: Roughly fourty minutes into the shift. Real Time: Around 13:35 (+2 GMT) Location of Incident: Kitchen Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [ ] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [ ] - Misconduct [X] - Other : Petty Theft Overview of the Incident: A merchant docked with the Aurora and offered to buy action figures for 500 credits each. I thought this quite humorous (I am good at humor) and didn't pay much attention to it. Some minutes later, Sergey Tarkov leapt over the counter, sprinted through our kitchen, grabbed an action figure of a cook that was on the northenmost edge of the kitchen, and sprint back out, leaping over the counter. I did not pay it much mind, until I realized it was an action figure he stole to sell for the 500 credits. I assume he took the earnings for himself. My fellow cook Pokazli Tupoi'Rlakor was also in the kitchen when this happened. A immediately contacted the Detective, IRU-Zenith, to build a case. The detective gathered some information, but the warden refused to acknowledge their attempts, and then ignored them completely. The detective told me that they could not take any action against the warden, as the warden controls the brig and their weaponry, then recommended that I make this very report. I set out to collect more evidence. I went to the merchant with a piece of paper (find attached below), with a makeshift form (I apologize, I am not a Ta). The merchant confirmed that Sergey Tarkov sold the action figure to him and offered to give me an item to pay it back, but I refused the offer, as that would mean our station stole from the merchant, and the K'lax Hive is not a hive of thieves! NanoTrasen Liaison Cart Kanara overheard this and offered to assist by helping me write this report. As I returned back to the station, the other cook showed me the tip jar. The offender placed a twenty credit tip into the jar, we assume it was a bribe to keep us silent. The K'lax do not take bribes. I had to go into cryosleep after this, but Mister Kanara informed me that no further action was taken towards the warden. Submitted Evidence: Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: Yes, IRU-Zenith, the Detective. There were no Heads of Staff active at the time that I know of, and they were the highest authority I know. Yes, Cart Kanara, a NT Liaison. Actions taken: None. Additional Notes: Cart Kanara assisted me with this report. He and the detective holds a photocopy I made of the above evidence. OOC Note: I think there was a CE active, but I can't remember if they came in after me, or if I just totally missed them on the manifest.
  10. i would love to see this through, but as it stands, too much actual gameplay hinges on access, without much way of getting it i can see this working if we add a semi-complex mini-game of hacking a special ID terminal that grants you access or whatever
  11. hello, person who added the mech as a pity kiss to the AIs i kneecapped AIs have time and again disappointed me, so i would personally not remind just this removal, but also their removal in short, +1
  12. Played with your CE last round, for the Diona event. I really enjoyed you as CE, and saw no glaring issues. I would like if you spoke more on departmental comms, even if it's just to check in, but I understand that the Command channel was probably really active that round. +1
  13. agreed, replace them with NT-brand hoodies so we can discard them and stomp them to the floor
  14. i don't think it should change, gives janitors some work to do every now and then
  15. I find it useful to have facing-macros for RP purposes, but with this change, they're useful for mechanical reasons as well. Here's a little snapshot of the macros I use, specifically the facing directions ones: A little crash course on how to make these: Right click the top bar on the screen (above the ones that says File, Icons, etc.), then navigate to that macros button. Click on the checkbox that says "Only apply to this game" to toggle it off. Click on "New Macro" and have this screen appear. Insert the relevant info, I will make one for clicking on my movement intent as an example. Click OK on this screen, then repeat as necessary. And hey presto, you're all macro'd up. I find playing with vision cones while using these [direction]face macros to be easy and seamless, my experience with RPing my character looking around already naturally giving me an advantage. It might be worth implementing these macros natively, but I'm not sure if people use Shift WASD for anything else already.
  16. I have a PR that does this, it just needs SQL stuff I can't be arsed to do right now
  17. Past Experiences/Knowledge: unfortunately Examples of Past Work: Additional Comments: i will only accept this post if it gets me into headchat, don't @ me
  18. the simplest solution to this will be to commission a willing developer (im burnt out so not me) and get it done with
  19. hello dev here 1) keep the wood sprites 2) game balance > roleplay > realism, keep it that way 3) have a nice day
  20. I played Detective recently and found it quite enjoyable. It's a chill RP role and you can choose to engage as much as you want. CSI and Forensic tech is a more mechanical focused role. I wouldn't want to see them merged, as I quite dislike the mechanical aspect of catching antags. Not to say that it's bad, but it's not my cup of tea. I feel like merging the roles will either do nothing, or make the role worse, as people in the role will be forced to do both aspects of it.

Jumpsuit: I think the white jumpsuit looks the best. Jacket: Green plain looks best. Could you toss a little white and brighter green in there? It looks a bit desaturated. Backpacks: Not much of an opinion on them myself. The shape looks really nice though. Vest: White looks the best, black looks a little too much like armor at a glance, imo. Really nice sprites! I can implement these once the feedback process is over, if you'd like.
  23. never speak these words again anyway, despite my hate for the word technician creeping into roles, which i am guilty of doing (drill techs bae), med tech does have a good ring to it
