  1. https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/6954 Adds the Helmet and Magboots to HoS locker @Spider
  2. Assuming that the helmet has the same armor value as the cap @Aboshedab referenced, it would not even be a power creep to add such a helmet.
  3. them cookies will be mine!
  4. In situations which lifts are down and they need access to maint ladders, why not just ask command to lift maint access with swipe?
  5. There are many ooc reasons why a mod would freeze the situation, any abuse of it can be dealt with a staff complaint. Removal of this feature would cause WAY more harm than good. -1
  6. Yes, looc, ic, ooc (if your ballsy???), etc HOWEVER, what sets aooc apart is that its designed to be a guaranteed way to talk to the antag in a ooc setting (no bwoinks are not a sufficient replacement, especially with team antags). Honestly this thread is the first time I (and likely many others) learned that people actually DON'T like the ooc thats used very rarely and never clogs the screen.
  7. There is a rule, it is called powergaming. Borgs get this alot when they would rush and try to baton da antag (with a hostage)
  8. Yeah I dont agree with instant, I can easily see a round of heist dragging on by any officers dying just respawning as a new officer. Overall I feel a shorter timer of 10 minutes would be a good idea.
  9. CCIA needs AOOC to communicate to antags over interviews for a "no touch" rule. Also the following reasons of why I don't like this idea: Single Antags AOOC would be rarely used by anyone who can used for new players to learn stuff Teams vital for gimic set-up helps improve teamwork lessens change of rogue antags in your team only feasable way for CCIA to easily inform team antags regarding the "no-touch" rule Both Unlike OOC, is not used often as such, the space it takes up is negligible I never seen AOOC clutter anyones screen with the only exception being team antag gimic set-up Overall I feel the cons outweigh the pro of "less bl0at". -1
  10. I remember when malf borgs (and/or emagged borgs I cant remember) could still be locked down and blown up by robotics console. I had many times when me and other bad borgs were having some fun causing havoc or whatever we were ordered to do, when suddenly the janitor finds the console and blows up every single borg in 10 seconds. Its not fun, sudden, and fucks over anyone who used resources for them. This suggestion is requesting the same but for drones. -1

  13. @Naelynn Regarding ERT, does your proposed change have it removed from NT and more of a elite merc team?
  14. I love meme PR titles, they bring a smile to my face, while also (usually) hinting at what the PR is. I feel the cons of enacting this suggestion outweigh the pro of not looking at desc to know what PR is.
  15. Will maint drones still be a thing
  16. Due the to large amount of personnel involved, please reduce the list to major offenders and witnesses. (I hear that you had trouble with that, so I recommend the engineer doing the breaker stuff, The Officer with harassment, some who were major harassers. I recommend Nashwa for victim, and pick some witnesses that you feel know the most about the situation).
  17. I feel it is best not to focus on the fact of it's origin...but the what the item in question is. If the item is not contraband, it's theft, but if the item is actual contraband, they get punished for it. I don't see the problem here.

  20. TO: Katheryn Linerbord, Security Officer, NSS Aurora FROM: Benedict Smith, CCSA, NTCC Odin SUBJECT: RE: Incident Report -------------------- BODY: Due to the confidential and multi-corporation nature of Project Peacekeeper, it would be impractical and impossible to full discern who is at fault for this incident. We will lodge a complaint to the appropriate figures to prevent this from happening in the future. -------------------- DTG: 03-09:57-TAU CETI STANDARD-07-2461 SIGN: Benedict Smith OOC: Since the person being reported is not a actual person, this IR is being thrown out.
  21. We must keep in mind that IC punishments are not inherently bad. Yes, the company is technically punishing you, but it doesnt have any lasting ooc impact (most of the time) and is expected to help develop a character. If you make regulations open to things that canon rounds usually cause, other rounds would be chaos, while if we keep them the way they are, it provides a stable framework for rounds to follow, with deviations from command and others causing a slap on the wrist by ccia if they get ired. It is something they should keep in mind, but not a end all be all deterant.
  22. This will be combined with this IR: https://forums.aurorastation.org/topic/12108-incident-report-06052461/
  23. any difference between this one and this one?
  24. I really dislike this for the following reasons: IAA should not be able to lessen/appeal sentences, they are not lawyers Appeals in this game are used to avoid crimes and are overall a waste of time rights already listed in corporate regulations CCIA doesnt have jurisdiction on criminal law, p sure Tau Ceti wont be happy if a company lets a murderer go free because "Oh this guy said so" You already can ask IAA, HoP, Captain, etc. to report mishandling Overall I feel this is unneeded and will over-complicate security. -1
