No sprite teaser today because kyres has been busy with irl, but we are currently working on the implementing the feedback and the new unfirosm.

Mining shuttle has very little space for ore boxes. You could - without making it any wider make a unique storage module on the exterior that big items like mining drills and ore boxes can be loaded into storage then offloaded when you arrive

Gonna echo some other comments and say the green seems quite dark on the uniforms; I have a couple more specific points of critique, though.

  • I think these uniforms suffer from broadly sticking to a single colour from the Idris palette - if we look at the current uniforms, most use a base of (lighter) cyan and white with yellow highlights, which I think is quite a bit nicer than this version of the new sprites. This combined with the dark grey colouring, as opposed to the lighter/white base of the old sprites, makes the new ones seem quite muted and dark. 
  • For the Idris service manager uniform, I think it's an odd choice to include the jacket/cardigan thing on the uniform sprite itself, as this kind of thing is usually reserved for suit slot items and could look very odd when combined with stuff on other layers; this could be worsened by the fact that the jacket on the uniform extends below the waistline and onto the trousers, as this will cause any suit slot items or accessories to look odd when there's clearly another layer of clothing under whatever jacket or shirt they put on top. 
  • For the Idris bartender specifically, I think the lack of lighter highlights looks especially rough, as both the trousers and vest/waistcoat being the same colour makes it look unpleasantly monotone.

CoffeeToffee has done the Janitor sprite here and I've done the rest.

These look nice, but I would recommend the blazer for the service manager to be a different item (a coat on its own). As for the gardener, maybe make it look like it has overalls? The shading looks much better.

Yeah these look much better, and I agree that the service manager uniform shouldn't have a built-in jacket. That'll make accessorizing really odd. Some kind of Idris overalls for the gardener would make it less 'khakis and a t-shirt' which is good IMO.

The small glass box could use windoors to the hallway too, not just having one way out.

 

As for the uniforms, the crimson and gray look weird for Nanotrasen. I don't dislike them, I think they're good sprites, but there's really no instance where NT uses those colors.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE what I will call the "Bandana Uniform" (guessing it's the Hydrophonics uniform?). It is spectacular.
So are most of the new uniforms.

The Bridge looks nice, though I am somewhat skeptical about all of those glass panels: if I may ask, what pushed the design team to "lock" those three consoles in a glass-paneled room?

Starting from top left, going clockwise:
1. This outfit looks fine. I'm not too huge on the bandana, though.

2. Flat overall, the hat looks kinda goofy. Could use some touchups and additional detail.

3. This outfit looks good.

4. Again, flat (extremely so on the back), and the hat looks goofy. Could use more shading overall.

5. Ditto #4. I like the concept for this outfit, but it's very flat, especially on the back (no shading at all).

6. This outfit's very generic. It is essentially just the loadout suit and tie in a locked color scheme.

 

Bridge looks pretty cool.

I love the bridge, but like others, I really do think that the uniforms look really flat, I'm unsure about the colour change for NT and having the janitor sprite be the same one as the Idris one but with switched colors.

I, for one, do not care about the color change. I don't see why it's a big deal when NT as it is doesn't really have a color scheme, per se. With every uniform on station being a NanoTrasen uniform, colors have been inconsistent. People associate NT with gold and blue, but that's hardly something you see beyond command and such. NT in general is extremely flavorless and a consistent color scheme that is relatively unique is a step in the right direction. It's the sprites that need work, not necessarily the colors. I suppose they could stand to be less pink and more scarlet, however.

I did this round of service sprites. I dont mind going back in and adding some more shading. Was trying more to stick to the pallet provided to me. I was also leaving them fairly flat considering they will also be obstructed with accessories, bags, overwear, etc. trying to avoid too much noise overall.

Is it possible to show a sprite wearing some accessories?

SCC will use blue instead. NT also does not really have a color scheme in game besides its logo unlike the other corporations. We also want to give it a more unique pallete, because it is very similar to the scc atm.

Forgot SCC is going to be its own thing. My bad. In that case, I don't see much issue with it. Will just have to get used to the color.
