So I remembered this thread exists right

There used to be an extra Zo'ra Soda machine by Cargo Mainlvl, this was map-merged during the older depsec testmerge and is now gone. It was nice to have because that part of the station gets a lot more traffic which means more people might actually try the soda.

You can place it where the o2 locker is or shrink the table a bit (move the gift wrapper to the package wrapper and shift down the pen & paper).

I wanted to ask that a battery charger is put somewhere in the Xenoarcheology department, or in the Science sublevels in general. As an IPC Xenoarcheologist, the only place I have nearby to charge a battery is outside. Meaning I need to use a battery to charge a battery.

Or, go upstairs, however given I often lag, I would much prefer a closer option.

This is a fairly large suggestion, so maybe it should have its own thread.

Anyway, I think a small clinic would be useful in the brig. For handling difficult detainees. One of the existing cells could be converted, as I've never seen the prison full.

Alternatively, the forensic lab could be equipped for handling trauma as well.

The anomaly Energy Harvesting room in the Anomalists Lab NEEEEEEDS a purge atmosphere button and shutte. its basically impossible to get the atmosphere down to vacuum to activate vacuum-activated anomalies! Also makes harvesting ANY atmospheric anomaly a pain as it take forever to clear the gas back out again.

Shelves, extra locker and armory locker in the armory please. Where officers can put their own gear when they swap into riot, ballistics and such. Instead of the armory turning into an absolute mess. Also a spot for mech recharge when robotics gives security a mech. Shelves, extra locker and armory locker in the armory please. The extra armory locker can house weapons given to security by research or ordered from cargo, found in the cargo warehouse. Since atm there is no where to put stuff turned in, stuff added from research and so forth. It just is shoved into a existing locker.

Also PLEASE add a button to lift blast doors for the armory inside the armory itself for warden use! Its very annoying when the power goes out, or there is no HOS to open the blast doors.

Here is my sloppy photoshop edit to show what it could look like.

I attempted to address most of these with this PR: https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/9268

Quote

* The armory has been split into two levels, as it's been getting cramped lately. Much of the lethal weaponry has been moved upstairs.

* In addition to the moved weapons, the upper armory received; 4 9mm signal pistols, and 4 boot knives.

* The lower armory received; 5 .45 flash rounds, 5 .45 rubber rounds, two generic storage closets (for prototype or looted weapons), 1 box of spare handcuffs (1 was moved), 2 boxes of firing pins, and a button to open and close it from the inside.

I'm more in the boat of condensing then expanding. The station as it is to me is too large. Its unrealistic to have just open space. Supplying air; realistically, and material wise to build would be too costly for upkeep and we all know Nanotransen is all about cutting cost. Also its hell on camera monitoring for AI and sec. You have to flick through two- three cameras to see large areas and its corners. Medbay is horrid for camera monitoring. Especially against mal AI where its like a egg hunt for all the cameras cause there are just so many...to cover every corner.

A second floor would be cool, but it shouldn't expand its space to do so.

Thats just my opinion...and study of ships/stations and such in scifi movies, shows and such.

Add a small stack (Roughly 10-15 sheets) of cardboard into the kitchen at roundstart.

For the past year I've robbed the arrivals shuttle for every single sheet that wasn't nailed for the floor just so I could make pizza and takeaway boxes. Please, don't make me live like some kind of dumpster diving goblin any longer.

On a similar note to the above, I'd like it if the lightswitch for the Security Offices was moved somewhere else. It's right next to an APC which makes it harder to see and click.

Also, in the surface level Security Checkpoint, I'd switch the places of the two consoles and the tables they're next to, so officers could watch the cameras on the consoles without turning their back to the checkpoint windows. Just looks a little weird having to face the opposite direction from the desks.

Might sound kinda arbitrary it would be nice to have the investigations division have its lightswitch be on its own level instead of having to be flicked on from the evidence room. :)

The whole areas there are mapped ... well not ideally. But changing that would be a bigger change.

Didn't find the switch you mean. Perhaps it's already fixed?

The following changes have been made in https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/10332:

The ICU in the Medbay has a roller bed and a regular bed in it. I think it should be changed to either two roller beds or two regular beds.

Also, please put a bucket in the Medbay's Custodial Closet, so I can use it to fill the mop bucket in there instead of having to use a beaker.

Replaced regular bed with a roller bed. Added the bucket.

The toilet in the engineering head has no door lock (and the door should maybe changed to the toilet door type).

There is no "toilet door type", departments just use their own doors. I added the bolt, as well as to all the other bathrooms where it was missing (command and patient).

The camera in the Consular Office should be removed. I am sure no diplomatic institution would tolerate a camera from a megacorp (even if it is an office on their turf, so to say), since there probably would be many sensitive documents or sofware that could be spied on.

Done, that very much makes sense. It even goes nicely that the AI can still see inside - at least until the window tint is turned on. (Also done for the Rep. office)
